I'm a lot more confident about this fixture than in previous encounters, but in reality I'd be more than happy with a point.

Well, two clean sheets and 5 goals at Liverpool and Arsenal... not expecting anything but yeah I'd be really very happy with a point. Ogbonna injured though, he's been pretty decent.

I agree, would be delighted with a point, however, I think it's unlikely 2-1.

0-1 West Ham at the minute, Aguero missed quite an opportunity moments ago.

C'mon you hammers!

No Kompany in the defence and they concede, no Silva in the mid and they look a little flat up front.

West Ham seem to like playing the big boys.

If West Ham win this, will that finally shut up the mugs who criticise Hammers fans for wanting Big Sam out? They wanted better from their team, and even if they finish in a similar position they'll have seen away wins at Liverpool, Arsenal and Man City.

I'm hoping it would also shut up all the idiots saying that the title race is already over and that City can't possibly be caught.

Well I'm just hoping they keep doing their thang and take points of those around us or expected to be around us :2thumb:

But....

Good hard low shot from De Bruyne. :ffs:

They beat Liverpool and Man City in the first ten games last season.

At home, yeah. Beating them away is a completely different matter, especially with clean sheets at Arsenal and Liverpool.

It was all City in that second half but a combination of some awful finishing and some brilliant defending and keeping from West Ham meant City come away from the game with nothing.

I guess they aren't going to finish the season on 114 points with no goals conceded after all :dk:

Credit to West Ham, they look a very good side playing on the counter away from home. City seem to be rather pants whenever they lose one of their key men like Augero or in this instance Kompany. I still think Pellegrini is very, very fortunate to be in that job.

Crazy 2nd half. Not quite sure how Etihad failed to equalize but full credit must go to West Ham, brilliant determination, Winston Reid in particular was outstanding. The away wins from West Ham this season have been pretty amazing.

After beating Arsenal and Liverpool, West Ham did the job with City too. Adrián had a very nice performance.

For City side, De Bruyne already started scoring. He's a guy to keep an eye.

Ah sod 'em, it got tiresome and it was a stupid view perpetuated by all the 'experts' on the TV too who were all mates with Allardyce. The idea that it was a straight 'Allardyce football and safety' or 'different manager and relegation' was always nonsense as may other teams have shown.

Obviously love the result, Bilic clearly knows how to set a team up away from home against the better teams and with the additions of Moses and Antonio I did wonder if the slightly more aggressive line-up (Moses in, one of the three DMs dropped) would see us lose a bit of resolution away from home.

Fun, fun times.

Not many teams win at Liverpool/Man City and Arsenal in a season!
