Really, sorry, didn't read the whole thread. Please forgive me 1FF funniest member.
It's OK, I stole it from Carel who stole it from a commentator anyway.
Yes, I heard it from the commentator, too.
Anyway, this draw is a bit lucky for Liverpool I have to admit. And Mignolet was great today (have to admit that too, although I can't stand him)

Rooney coming on for Carrick at HT was a bit shit. If anyone had to come that early it should've been Mata.
I'm the first to admit when Liverpool have been fortunate but I'm baffled by this claim..
I can live with that. United had enough chances, especially Miki, to win this game and that they only scored 1 late Goal (irregular) was due to a great Mignolet today.
The offside goal is a hint of luck, but no mention of cowardcy in liverpools lack of attackive intentions second half, so happy to remind all of untied lack of ambition in the anfield game. Happy to sit back and soak up pressure. Of course the penalty changes the tactics, before that it was an even game both teams testing each other out, but after that Liverpool had maybe 1 chance to score, against untied 4/5 solid chances.

a poor game, both teams have and will play better again this season. A shame our little brothers put on a better game....
Bout time then that Liverpool got the rub of the green against Utd, its always the other way round; and particularly with the starting line-up that Klopp had to put in.Yes, I heard it from the commentator, too.

I'm the first to admit when Liverpool have been fortunate but I'm baffled by this claim. United scored one goal and it was offside, how are we lucky to have gotten a draw? If anything United were fortunate to get a point. And finish with 11 men on the pitch.
Liverpool were fortunate to finish with 11 men aswell though, surely Firmino should have seen red for raising his hands to Herrera?!
Origi was decent in the 1st half for Liverpool, & I thought Lovren had a good game. Although Mignolet was their best player, which say's alot.
Perhaps. But it was handbags for me, a reaction to someone trying to remove his shorts. Sure, you could argue by the letter of the law he could have been sent off but it would have been harsh. Rooney's stamp was outright dangerous play and seeing a red card would have been fully justified.
Yup, it says he had a great game.
Ah GB, you're so predictable.![]()
Precisely, so to say United were fortunate to get a point is a bit silly when your Goalkeeper has made sure your side ended up with a point instead of none?!
Not our fault you guys lost it that occasion.Remember the time Liverpool got three penalties at Old Trafford? Bloody United, always getting the rub of the damned green against Liverpool.
Pah!
So United bagging a point due to an offside goal isn't fortunate? Righto.
Not our fault you guys lost it that occasion.
Phil Neville tactical 'analysis' on MOTD2 tonight, whats the world coming to.![]()
He looks like Mr Beans lovechild, nothing decisive about him and always panicky, a bit like he was when he played tbh.Well there's something we can agree on, Phil Neville's analyses are a disgrace to punditry.
But you're saying they weren't deserving of a point

The second most notable thing about him (apart from being Gary Neville's brother) is from a personal pov, that he is a fortnight younger than me. And whilst I myself am aging like a fine old Brora whisky, he looks as if he is going off like a necrotic toe.And his forehead and temples make me feel queasy.
