Did Ozil not get a Yellow earlier on when he booted Lingard well after the ball had gone? Lucky boy to still be on the field.

Arsenal didn't turn up, which is a huge indictment. If they had they'd have won comfortably.

Didn't expect that. What an impact Rashford has made and it's great to see Memphis applying himself (he was the best player on the pitch for me). I've been impressed with Varela too, reminds me a bit of a young Rafael without the unnecessary petulance.

Arsenal were shit though. Walcott is so average and Sanchez looks tired, when did he last score a league goal? Can't see them winning the league this season.

Professional bottlers. You'd find more backbone in an amoeba. No desire, no passion, just a bunch of losers really. Sad, because a couple of the players on the team deserve better than this.

Has Campbell fucked Wenger's daughter or something? At least he offers more than Sanchez or Walcott have in the past few weeks. I've defended Walcott in the past but recently he's been diabolical. No way he should be getting paid what he is for what he does. He used to be so good at getting in behind defenders but now he's always getting the ball to feet and losing it. If we're going to do that, play Giroud.

Also Ramsey - what the fuck has happened to him. Constantly loses possession, the amount of bad touches he takes is incredible and unacceptable for a central midfielder.

The only whinge I'll have about today is Welbeck being booed again. He's done nothing wrong in regards to us and would have stayed if we'd backed him.

Still, nice to see him upstaged by another manc today.

Don't want to sound kneejerk but fuck me that was beyond pathetic.

This team needs to show their mentality and turn over Spurs next week, anything less we don't deserve to win the league anyway.

Rashford did well, a promising guy. But the awful Arsenal defense has also to be considered.

Van Gaal is a fucking genius. It's not footballing genius I'm referring to but that piece of pantomime on the touchline. World class.

It took Messi 10 years to score 2 goals past Petr Cech, it took Rashford just 32 minutes

Rashford looks like an old fashioned number 9 striker that you don't see so often nowadays. A good talent, sharp, fast and a good finisher for sure. The comparisons to Messi are a little bit OTT though but nothing we haven't come to expect over the years.

Decent game yesterday and i think a few people quite like LVG now.

I actually agree, all it takes is one result! I think LVG is now the man to take Man Utd forward.

I think people like him because of the dive! He has still had an awful season which has been horrible on the eye so I'm not sure, think the opinion is pretty split about him and about Mourinho as a successor. Mourinho almost guarantees success but he also brings controversy and divisions among his players and staff so its a gamble.

Mourinho brings a promising season 1, a cup season 2 and finally you'll want him gone in season 3. As he's only a cash injection manager.
