If Rooney starts again I'm going to be angry. If he starts up front I'm going to kick my cat right up the arse.

Manoo are becoming as boring as Chelsea to watch though at least the latter have been entertaining this year as they capitulate.

Not you 'n'all! Both of those teams have some way to go before they can match Liverpool in the drudges.

De Gea; Young, Smalling, Blind, Rojo; Schweinsteiger, Carrick; Lingard, Rooney, Mata; Martial

Romero, Darmian, Jones, Pereira, Ander Herrera, Memphis, Fellaini

I'm angry but it looks like Rooney will be taking Herrera's place as the number ten meaning Martial is upfront which means that my cat's anus will remain unkicked for tonight.

I think Van Gaal has taken all of the "boring" and "negative" criticism to heart because we've been noticeably faster and more positive/attacking in our play in the early stages here. Thankfully he's put Martial back up front too.

It must be a riveting affair then, as I see how full the comments on the match are... :hypo:

We've played well so far - I've liked the upped tempo and more attacking style. Particularly the first 15-20 minutes. We've still not scored though - so far that's down to Moscow defending well and in numbers more than our own negativity.

Do yourself a favour and switch to the City game, its been brilliant. You can catch the flukey one - nil you'll get on the highlights later... :eek:bama:

The short corners have been pretty piss poor - I noticed some grumbling from the fans after each one.

I'm not a City fan but as a neutral they usually are involved in exciting games in Europe. Whereas watching Manoo must be a tiresome affair these days. :sl:

That's the one Rojo - struggling for goals and requiring consistently decent service - he tries the rabona cross.

Martial subbed off. Fellaini on. Rooney still on the pitch.

Positivity depleted!

"We want to attack, we want to attack, we're not Chelsea, we want to attack" chant going round now.

Or "we're Man United, we want to attack".

Either way!

I thought they had upped the tempo and attacking style tonight? ;)

For the first half we had - the second half has been the usual shite though. Martial off for Fellaini with Rooney remaining on the pitch instigated the chants.
