I was talking to an Everton fan earlier this week, he bemoaned the fact that his team cannot beat teams from the top six. I countered with "I like the look of the current Everton squad, and I like the manager, he has lifted them. They have more chance of progressing this season than they have in a long while" Perhaps he was right after all. Everton still seem to have a mental block about going for the jugular against the big boys.
Having said that, Man United deserved the W; damn we were linked with Martial in the summer. He should be wearing a Tottenham shirt! (Well done Man United btw.)
