Both teams will be desperate to avoid defeat after bad results at the weekend.

Jagielka with an overhead kick. De Gea with Real Madrid on his mind.

Robles was an embarrassment against Liverpool...

This is getting silly with opposition goalkeepers at Old Trafford.

Lukaku has really taken on the "prove people wrong challenge" and tried to score three or four times when a simple pass would have yielded a much better scoring chance.

Indeed. Ignoring Mirallas earlier almost certainly cost Everton a 2-0 lead.

Bizarre half time substitution from Mourinho. Brings on Pogba for Blind, meaning United still have three holding midfielders on the pitch and Herrera is playing wing back, despite Darmian being on the bench. :err:

Been a woeful performance.

Looking beyond this game I'm genuinely starting to believe that Mourinho has lost it as a top class manager. His forte used to be his ability to come in and make an impact, he's never been one for the long haul. But despite being allowed to spend big in the summer, United have stood still at best.

He's been desperately missed.

EDIT: Ah...I've been had. That was onside.

On Mourinho, United have made definite leaps. The football played is infinitely better than last season, they've competed on multiple fronts, the league is just a lot better than it was under LVG. Another summer and I'd be confident of him getting United to compete for the league. Europa + League Cup would be a successful season. A title challenge is a must next season mind.

That was so tight there wouldn't have been much in the way of complaints had it been given.

I don't think he's adapted like the 'best' long term managers do. Not to mention his style of play is zzzzz. Fine when you're getting results, not so much when you're playing it long to a front two of Zlatan and Fellaini time after time.

The truth is he's having a worse season than Van Gaal and statistically Moyes. But United fans and the board will overlook it because he's a 'name'.

Lukaku again wasting the chance to pass for an easy chance. His desperate greed could end up costing Everton all 3 points here.

Macclesfield Town/Manchester City. It's complicated.

But I'd wager it wouldn't have been forensically shown by BT sixty seven times, either.

United resorting to Fellaini Route One.

The acronym of that being FRO is purely coincidental.

True, TV stations don't generally deliberate for a long time when an onside goal is correctly given...

Nice shot lukey Luke.

Stonewall so definite penalty. Williams shouldn't be playing anyway, should have seen red on Saturday.

Old Drawford. *

What a stupid penalty to give away! Keeper's ball all the way!

Lukaku needs to look at himself tonight, a couple of chances to put in easy crosses to incoming, unmarked players and open nets. Instead he was so desperate to make up for being shite on Saturday he took shots which were never likely to go in.

That doesn't make any sense (in the context of this evening anyway). BT Sport mentioned a few times that an onside Ibrahimovic was denied a goal, seems fair. If it had been given, no TV station would dedicate much time to it, because it's no longer controversial.

But yeah, I get your overall tedious point that it's only being mentioned so much because it's United.

That's 5 draws from their last 6 home games for United. That's shockingly poor.

Good to see Luke Shaw come on and make an impact.

Jose got that all wrong, we were awful. But we still deserved at least a point, Everton had very little about them.

Our home form this season has been atrocious. All our eggs are officially in the Europa League now.

Out of curiosity as I can't be bothered Googling, if United win the Europa, does that mean only the top 3 teams get into next season's CL?

Nope, top 4. Your position is safe. Unless United win the Europa AND Leicester win the Champions League.

I believe in Vardy.

Am I surprised by this result? The answer is no.

'Bland'chester United have proven once again that the very most they can hope to achieve in football is mediocrity. Having struggled against relegation fodder for 90 minutes, they were lucky to take anything from the game due to a fortunate penalty.

This seems to be the mantra for 'Plays like a girl band'chester United these days. While they try their very best they've been outed as nothing more than a mid-table side. It's strange how they struggled for a draw against Neverton (relegation fodder) at home just a week after we absolutely smashed them. Perhaps that's just another indication of the gulf of talent and pride between the two clubs, since 'Empty seats throughout every stand'chester United '''fans''' are only interested in Facebook checkins than actually supporting their 'club'.

My question to 'Would be better to just disband'chester United '''fans''' is this: Which team will you decide to bandwagon now that there's no chance of silverware in the future?
