Leicester simply a better team right now. Said it at the start of the season, it will take a while for United's new players to bed in, especially without a defined system in place (like Guardiola's). Dropping Rooney would certainly help the process along, get Mkhitaryan in there please.
Bad performance or not Rooney as been absolutely awful and the Northampton game, I thought, showed his level. The media circus around his inclusion/exclusion from the starting XI has been absolutely ridiculous for the past few years, this is hopefully the beginning of everyone - as well as him - digesting the reality that he is not good enough to start week in week out and that he has fuckal to offer playing in midfield.
I'm mostly happy with the lineup. Herrera deserves a start but not quite sure he offers the balance we need in that midfield. We shall see.
Such a sharp contrast to last season from Leicester, they've started even worse than I expected. You know things are bad when even United are finding it this easy against you.
