Would love a draw as a neutral, but think Utd will scrape their typical 1 - 0 which has been the score in this tie at OT the last three seasons.

Daring to hope for a W here, Mourinho looks like he is about to go on the dole again, there is something wrong with his relationship with the dressing room, it is surely the best time to play them. Really disappointed to lose the semi-final to this fairly ordinary looking side, COYS time for revenge!

All told I can see it ending in a stalemate.

Man Utd 1 Tottenham 1

Spudz should win this at a canter ,united look in complete disarray in midfield at the minute and I cant see that altering until the Portuguese Ambassador orders someone to draw the smile a clown hides behind on the face of Mr Melancholy in indelible ink or they get Matic back in the middle.

I'm surmising United fans will have to wait uncomfortably for both.

There is a good chance that Matic is fit enough to play in this game - not that he'll magically transform our side, he'll just add some extra strength and control in midfield.

Most of our problems so far early on this season have been in defence (individual mistakes) and in attack (no flow and, by the looks of things, no plan), rather than midfield.

Mourinho special coming up I think. It'll probably be an unwatchable game.

It'll be a draw, in my opinion.
Mou is ready to set a total defense-oriented system for the game, letting the Spurs handle the game and trying to hit them stealing the ball.

1 - 1, Lingard and Eriksen will score.

In the game I seen against Brighton ,I agree ,it was more than just the lack of a recognized DM to protect your back four that seen you concede too much space in the middle ,but it can also be argued that the link up between your midfield and attack was a tad cautious devoid of the solidity Matic affords the team and if we're being honest Brighton found it just too easy to constrict your play. I don't think I've seen a United team with such a chasm between the midfield and attack . I think your CB's were drawn out of position way too many times that can be considered comfortable ,but then they did have to cover the void left from your fullbacks.

I think they're both good defenders ,just not ready to compensate each others game just yet.
When is Smalling expected back ?

Are Man Utd going to get near Spurs' penalty box tonight or can Lloris have another night on the lash?

Just want to give a shoutout to my good and loyal friend Stevencc , whom I'll be happy for if United sneak a win tonight as I'm sure they will.

Proper gentleman is Steven, would not begrudge him a win here.

Stevencc 's best trait is his ability to watch the same genre of movie for an extended period of time. His worst trait is his chosen team.

Herrera is playing as a centre back tonight so I've temporarily switched back to horror for at least ninety minutes.

Utd starting strong. Heard Kane has never scored at OT; hope this changes tonight. ;)

Spurs under Pochettino have not only never won a game at Old Trafford but they've never scored a goal there either.

I don't think that record will stand after this match.

Yeah they do have a shocking record there. Was looking at the previous results the other day, so I think you guys should be favourites for it tonight as you usually win no matter the opponent when you have had a shocking result.

Lukaku though...

It's almost like the memo was based on massive exaggerations, my great m8.

While there is a lot of enthusiasm behind this makeshift 3511 with Herrera doing ok as right CB, there is a disctinct lack of pace upfront as you can see neither Lingard nor Lukaku beating the Spurs rearguard.
Spurs themselves aren't having a great game. They should test United more down the sides but they're just not doing that. Moura and Alli are playing too centrally and would hurt them more with more width but they walking on each other toes (I don't think they like each other all that much). Eriksen has been very quiet which is never good news if you're rooting for Spurs. Saying this, the United back 3 is doing very well to contain them.

It's an ok watch really. I was expecting worse.
