Before G-Dragon suggests that I am in a cave I would like to inform the members of this forum that I will be away for a week or so starting a few days before the date of this game of football.

If someone could take over my duties of posting the United lineups the second after they are listed on United's official twitter page, that would great.

Where are you going?

Rest assured I will be in here (if you don't win).

Well, Smat, I am visiting family, attending my Dad's birthday meal, and dropping off Christmas presents.

What I want to know is this...does your complete hatred for Jose Mourinho prohibit you from taking any pleasure in a potential Spurs loss in this fixture? Or is your obsession with the man so all-encompassing that you'd rather be seen cheering on Spurs than any side said manager is employed by?

Bantbantbantbantbant.

Sounds nice. I hope you have a good time and all the best to you and yours this Christmas.

It's a good question. I see it as a combination of a lose-lose and a win-win. I would be delighted to see Mourinho lose, but concerned that it might signal a Spurs revival. Equally I would be delirious with happiness to see Spurs get thrashed and fall further off the pace, but my brow would furrow at the thought of Jose turning the corner. I think an utterly terrible 0-0 draw would be the ideal outcome.

Same to you, friend.

I understand your predicament vis a vis the outcome of this match and I hope it reaches a conclusion that is satisfactory for the both of us at this festive time.

Sorry for the bantbantbant.

Fellaini booed for giving away a penalty last week? Is that right?

Massive 3 points for Manchester United, claws them to within 6 points of the top 4 and 3 behind Spurs. Tottenham seem to be lacking something from last season, Fellaini getting booed by his own fans absolutely pathetic.

Phew. Not much difference to our previous three 1-1's except that Spurs failed to punish us for failing to kill the game. Pogba was very unlucky with that freekick though.

Marcos Rojo and Matteo Darmian were put on this planet to give me a heart attack.

Gutted to see Mkhitaryan go off on a stretcher after finally forcing himself into the side and playing so well, he took the goal brilliantly.

Spurs seem to really struggle for creativity at times this season. You'd have thought they would have managed more than one good free-kick in 90mins.

I think Pochettino can be a little too keen on his DMs, when chasing a win you need to get the more defensive players off. Arsenal stole a point here by playing Ox at right back for example.

Mourinho says Mkhitaryan will only miss a week or so. Great news for Manchester United. He was comfortably the MOTM today.

United have a very kind run of games now, so win a few in a row and they could really be back in it, especially if Spurs and City keep being shit.
