For the first time in years I can't call this one. Big bonus Aguero is suspended but City are still a force without him.

Mkhitaryan is looking doubtful at this point with an injury, so Mata is likely to start in a fixture he usually delivers.

It's the most confident I feel about the derby in a while.

I was quite looking forward to Bailly taking care of Aguero.

Macclesfield Town/Manchester City. It's complicated.
I hate derbies, always have, always will.

Aguero will be a miss, but there's plenty of goals elsewhere in that side. It'll be interesting to see how they line up and might make it a bit harder for Mourinho to try and second-guess. Like for like with Kelechi up front or perhaps Sane getting a debut?

I've seen City take points off United with goals from Benjani, Vassell, Macken and Giovani, so not having Aguero ain't the end of the world.

What does the thing about Halsey have to do with this game?

Christ, you'd think Bailly was Baresi.

I am looking forward to this match, although I can't stand both coaches. But it's about the action on the field and not about the morons at the sidelines

I fear this will be a tactical match, but I really hope that I am wrong with this and both will show us a "spectacle" ;).

The result? 1-1?

The 'Pep v Mou' media wankfest leading up to this game is going to be unbearable. I suspect the game is going to be a anti-climax in comparison.

1-1.

Christ, you'd think Bailly was Baresi.

Aguero is clearly an excellent striker but he is containable, you know - it doesn't take a Baresi or a Beckenbauer to keep him at bay for a game.

He can be contained sometimes and also he can be unplayable being one of the best strikers in the world.

City will win this comfortably. United will park the bus and play the long ball.
Given Ibras aerial advantage over whoever plays at the back for City, that could work wonders.

Games that are this heavily built up always turn out to be an anti-climax. It'll be a cagey affair with both managers being mindful about not leaving unoccupied spaces, which as JJ alluded to above, makes players like Ibra and Fellaini (ha,these two names in the same breath sounds quite funny) all the more pivotal.

Rashford to come on in the last 20 minutes and grab the winner. 2-1 United.

(scored a hat-trick on his England under 21s debut. cos that's how he rolls, y'know?)

Pissed off at the timing. Was looking forward to watching this but I'll miss an hour of it due to the Celtic v Rangers game kicking off 30 minutes before this. Not bothered who wins as long as both teams score as that's where my dosh will be......:bg:

After all this hype probably end up being 0-0 and no spat between the managers..!

Iheanacho will play, not Navas.

Don't remember a harder derby to call, id prob go with a United win, Aquero is a big loss and I think Ibra could be the difference maker, but its damn close.

In fairness, Silkyman didn't know that photo was going to be published.

Why has this thread less posts than Liverpool vs Leicester? Not sure if it's been pointed out mind.

Anyway, I'm gutted to miss this. Hoping for a boring 0-0 draw but it'll probably be a legendary 6-5 to City where Mourinho punches the ref or something.

Because Leicester are the fucking champions mate and everyone wants a piece of that action.

It definitely in no way has anything to do with Man Utd Liverpool dick waving. 100%.

Mkhitaryan has lost the ball every time he's had it so far.
