Pomlett needs to stop playing chicken and appoint someone experienced this squad should be mid table not fighting relegation every season someone like Flynn or wellens if they would come here.

Seen a few rumours about Penn... If you could not take that'd be great. He and Jimmy O'Connor are contracted until 2023 so if you did want them they'd cost.

I don't know about playing chicken or not but the first thing Pomlett has to do is take a long hard look at himself in the mirror. He has the final say on everything that goes on. Gigantic farce of a mistake number one was appointing Fullerton in an unnecessary role. Big mistake two has been approving every single mistake Fullerton has made..... now I hear that Fullerton hs a big part to play on selecting the next guy. Sigh.

Flynn would be perfect for you! and its about time he got back on the saddle (excuse the pun) he would'nt have to worry about pulling up sticks for his wife either as he could commute to Birmingham its only 90 minutes from Newport.

Former player and fan favourite Dean Holden is the bookies favourite right now. Also just came out that Graham Coughlan is interested in the job.

Coughlan been interested in plenty but not managed to get one yet, think he deserves another shot despite how terrible he was for Mansfield. Do well to get another FL club though.

He should have stayed with us in hindsight as we were 4th in L1.
I thought it was strange he cited that he wanted to move closer to family in Sheffield, despite having spent the previous 10 years in either Essex or Plymouth.
I'm still not sure why he couldnt stick out another 5 months with us and if successful could have taken his pick that summer

Think the opportunity was too much to turn down, good payday I’m sure and close enough to live next to his actual home. 5 months time the Mansfield job would not be available.

Came across a nice honest bloke, just didn’t work out.

John McGreal could be a useful candidate. I think we have sorted out the compensation with him when Lee Power appointed him and then after less than a month was forced to quit.

He wasn’t forced to quit - he chose to, knowing he could get a few quid with the old tried and tested constructive dismissal. As far as a I know, nobody sacked him. He knew there was a change of ownership in the offing and could have decided to wait it out and see how it turned out.

He’s a thieving cnut in my eyes.

'ang on' Devon Lad is an admirer of Del Boy and all 'is east Lunnun ways of talking.

Hang on, all this talk of Matt Taylor and Graham Coughlan is all well and good but you lot have let this egregious statement slide. Peckham is in Sarf Lahndahn. East have already got David Beckham - they can’t have Del Boy as well.

Flynn now evens and clear favourite
Never trust lower league betting odds as the bookies don’t have a scooby, being evens just means a couple of people have stuck a few quid on him, I could go stick £20 on Guardiola and he’d probably jump up in the betting to second or third.
After Hurst left in 2016 we had Nigel Adkins at 2/5 and then Danny Cowley at 1/3 yet Marcus Bignot ended up getting the job.

Our previous 3 managers have been sacked after losing at Boundary Park.

Whilst never wanting my team to lose a match in any competition, I would take exception on Saturday if it guaranteed the sacking of Adams. Hopefully, he will be sacked before then though.

If he is still in charge and we don't get a result it will be very toxic in the away end as we are still travelling over in large numbers
