Wild is rumoured to be getting interviewed at 11am - so i'm guessing when he gets to the ground a teaser will be put out either then or at 11am... then the announcement will follow at maybe noon or 1. I might be way out on the times though

Pleased with this one, it was pretty much the only avenue we haven't been down since we got here. Tried the name (Dunn) and those off the conveyor belt (Cooper, Jolley to an extent, Brown) and it never worked out, so the only other option was to fork out for someone who'd done a good job at the level below. Still got a hell of a lot of room to improve off the pitch and that's why we've probably been through so many manager's, but this appointment and the fact we've got an actual Sporting Director in place is cause for a little optimism.

Yep, this was my preferred choice since Cooper got the boot. I was dreading Brown signing all his players from his 2010 "hot prospects" list, but Wild looks like he's recruited wisely at Halifax got some average players playing good football and seems to have also had a big impact on improving their youth setup too (which obviously is a massive shitshow here).

All joking aside,it's a good appointment if you ask me.
Three season's under his belt,two fairly succesfull with tinpot Halifax, with i'd imagine, a limited budget.
Will have a good knowledge of players,especially the northern based ones.
While the Pools shitshow managerial process rumbles on.
