At Carlisle I do remember thinking it was weird that Curle himself only attended the Thursday and Friday training sessions, he left the earlier in the week stuff to Colin West. Fair enough let the coach take the sessions, but to not even come and oversee it I thought was strange.

Starting to get a bit skeptical about Curle with what I hear about the training. Loads of days off, weird training start times, duration and the like.

He can't be blamed for the players he has but could he be getting a bit more out of them? Think he's only 2 points better off than Hartley and the football is not much better.

Nah I'm not gonna judge Curle when he's having to use a duff hand, could question some things like a new tactic every week or some players bizarrely dropped but we have 2 maybe 3 average to good performing players from a starting 11, no coach or manager could get this lot performing like semi competent footballers, if we're still a pile of shite after January with Curle additions in the squad then that's the time to start picking through the faults.

He can't do anything about player error and we're riddled with it from keeper to forward. Tumility needed rescuing yesterday for his own sake, totally unforced error for the first, blind fucking header, take a touch bring it down, Hastie through on goal harder to miss, scuffs the fucker half a mile wide one on one, these are simple things footballers should be able to do, they just aren't good enough and they'll send us down.

This is my thoughts 100% although far from perfect you simply can’t judge someone who’s stuck with the shower of sh*te he has until January. Will hold my opinion until then. Hopefully we aren’t too far adrift at this point, but I think the writing is on the wall regardless.

We start every game at least a goal down due to a comical error either from the hopeless GK or one of the clowns Infront of him. Yesterday was a complete disgrace all over the pitch.

Incompetence from the top down. Crazy how far we have fell apart from 18 months ago.

Must admit I was wondering about that as well. Both you and Torquay in the play off finals and now both of you at the bottom of your respected divisions. Well Torquay now a couple of places up.

Tumilty,Murray & Hastie should be sued under the trade descriptions act for impersonating pro footballers.

Yeah you are largely right, it's not the time to pick too many holes but just thinking how much these individual cock ups are down to confidence in themselves and as a unit. He's very quick to say they're not good enough, we all know they aren't but are they given the belief and encouragement to do their roles properly? Are the experienced players standing up to the task? I'm just wondering what goes on off the pitch as its blatantly obvious the management and players have zero trust in each other.

I think Curle sees that the players at his disposal just haven't got it and are probably past defending, he can build them up, say the right things, give them all the instruction in the world but once they cross the white line it's mostly out of his hands, we've just amassed the biggest collection of shit for brains players in our history, I didn't think the first non league seasons team would be beat in terms of dross but these lot make them look like world beaters, I've never known a team to concede so many laughable goals and we're only 20 games in.

Just to keep this relatively on topic if we do end up going down again then that'd curtains for Keith, anything else and I think he deserves a new season to mould his own team.

The issue I would question is the berating of the players because let's face it, we're stuck with most of them until the end of Jan if not longer. And that's a hell of a lot games. He hasn't as yet cultivated any kind of team spirit or got the senior players heads together to lead from the front.

Agree on the last bit.

Dread to think where we would be now if we lost that final

I don’t think there was anybody that didn’t think this would descend into the circus it has become. Feel for Crawley fans on it to be honest as they’ve taken what seemed a middling but stable club into staring a return to non-league and maybe worse in the face.

I wouldn't be suprised if Etherington walked as well tbh, selling your best player and captain after not playing him isn't going to end well.

Just a total shambles, they haven't planned this well at all.

Ah well, it was nice being a football league club.

It will be nice to reform in the lower reaches of the pyramid. Not so nice to stay there.

"Hey man, we are 20th in the standings, these players and coach are obviously trash. We should cut them from the roster and tank the rest of the season so we get first pick in the draft, right?"

Wanted: Manager. Must understand statistics but not how to implement them. Previous experience in the football league definitely not required but will accept a few games in interim charge as long as results were poor. Key performance target is to take the blame.

Aside from signing the whole East Stirlingshire squad over the summer, were you ever really that much of a basketcase outfit? I know you lot don't like him but your man Raj still backs each new manager for signings & faces fans at forums. Many of us have endured much worse down the years

Would love to know what goals they're working towards!

What a shambles, that said we bloody lost to that circus a few weeks ago. Gillingham might want to check they bought the actual Tom Nichols and not an NFT of him.

Wouldn't surprise me if Wagmi are a group of con artists.

Raj does an interview session with the clubs media once in a blue moon, he gets one of his employees to throw him underarm questions, it's not exactly a David Frost sit down, none of us are fooled by what he has to say cos we've heard all the patter before, "Now's not the time to blame anyone" says the man who is entirely to blame, he doesn't do fan forums, he sends one of the mugs, he's not fucking stupid.

If you compare how good the club was feeling on our return to the league,to a year later, absolutely.
An absolute fuck up,how he could get it so wrong, god knows.
Not just on the pitch, off it is an absolute shambles also.
