Spot on really!

Basically the club and some fans cannot decide what sort of manager they want it seems .

We go from one sort to another every time .
They probably should have gone for a Bilic type of manager if the board wanted an instant impact rather than a young manager with a years worth of management experience.

Edwards was always going to be a bit raw tactically wise .

Agree, said early on in his first few interviews it sounded all a bit Jones at Stoke to me. Lots of talk about culture and attitude all admirable and totally correct to a certain level, but it’s different when you are building something in your own image with a group going on the journey with you than walking into something that many think is already half made anyway and have a different agenda. There’s certainly seems to be multiple competing agendas and power bases within the Watford structure given this sudden lurch between approaches.

In hindsight both were poor moves in terms of club they were going to for the type of manager they were at the time of the move. Think Edwards will ultimately come out of it well in his next role, but is another example to these up and coming coaches in the EFL that you need to choose your moves very carefully and not jump at the first big pay check coming along. Similar happened to the Cowleys at Huddersfield.

No doubt a few players who weren't playing complained about their "treatment" - that one always seems to be a reason for sacking someone.

Rather than just telling them to get on with it...

As I say basically sounds like one person on our board wanted to do something but the rest didn't fancy that and thought a change was needed.

Hull are definitely going to be a basket case club.

The Turkish Simon Cowell signing up his mates on daft money.

Surely Steve Bruce will be sacked or can WBA not afford to ?

Weird one for WBA as when ive watched them on the box, i felt they looked very good indeed but on neither occassion did they actually get a win, which probably says something. Following from afar it seems its been a theme for them this season.

They might hang on if performances are good but not sure any outside observer thought that when Bruce went in there that it would be successful. Always felt that it would end in disappointment from a WBA point of view.

Matt Taylor has left Exeter for Rotherham.

Chorley guy, was on PNE's books as a goalkeeper. Dropped to non-league with Burscough and converted to a CB, then went on to have an alright lower league career.

No idea if he's a decent manager or not.

Did well at Exeter getting them promoted but a step up of course...

With a team who despite starting well will be limited resources wise compared to others.

Which of the many Matt Taylors is this? Not our old one right?

I'd imagine Bruce is gone.

Bruce gone, wonder if they'll go for a fan favourite in Darren Moore.

Now I'm reading that Gary Rowett is a target for West Brom! Will we see half the Championship change manager before the World Cup break? If Rowett goes it'll be ten clubs as it stands.

Michael Carrick seems like a Woodgate type punt at Boro. Clearly no real plan at that club.

West Brom announcing a manager soon, sounds like it won't be Schumacher from Plymouth.

Still no new manager at Hull.

Talk of QPR's manager going to Wolves.

Dean Smith could be a surprise casualty this season based on what I've seen from Norwich fans. They don't like him at all.

I think that at the moment it seems a good move but things can change quickly!
Wolves have the finances and potential to be a top 10 Prem side though, QPR don't. I think he'll regret this.

Guess so if Wolves manage to sort themselves out and stat up this season and get back to the team they were when first promoted.

Wonder if he rejected Wolves because he's waiting for Villa's approach. Pretty clear that Gerrard was riding off the back of his good work.

I reckon Neil Critchley will be back managing at this level before the season is out. He did a great job at the shithole with the tower.

Would he be welcomed back at Blackpool or has his name been muddied now.
