Manchester City have a new Badge

Apparently, this is their new badge...

They have been hinting at a new badge with little clues being posted around Manchester. I think it's an improvement, will help people forget that the old badge still has recent memories of this...

"New" is a bit of a stretch for that badge. I prefer the current one to that old one there.

Slightly freshened up it'd be a winner.

It's more or less the same as their previous badge, which is a good thing. The random stars and eagle were dumb.

It's pretty similar to their badge of a few years back which is a good thing,I think.
Their present effort is way over the top and looks more like some sort of U.S.presidential logo with the eagles and stars and all that.What the fuck's that got to do with Manchester?

I think it looks ok. I liked the one that was knocking around with the Maltese crosses on it.

But yeah, it's clearly a step back towards the days of this.

I just hope that doesn't include on the pitch too!

Adds some nice uniformity to the portfolio I guess

Anyway, having looked at this a bit more there's a few things that bug me about it. The Irk, Medlock and Irwell should be in white/more prominent. The shield should sit inside the badge, the Lancs rose doesn't look right, and the 'City' looks odd without being curved. Otherwise, a real grower.

Once Sun'lan get back to their old black ship crest, we'll almost be able to pretend we don't all despise modern football
