Is there even the slightest chance that City will continue their absolutely awful record against the top six sides?

Let's hope so.

I'd Kevin Keegan style love if the Arse won today!

Come on Arsenal, St Totteringham's Day is still very much on if you win this.

At this point I'm 99% sure Wenger is picking Giroud so he hits some form before joining France for the Euros.

No Özil.

Typically excellent finish from Aguero - Arsenal's defending wasn't up to much.

Macclesfield Town/Manchester City. It's complicated.
Sigh. I wonder why this was the only match thread started by someone I'm ignoring...

That's not worryingly obsessive behaviours at all.

Anyway.

Fucking annoying to concede like that. Almost literally only one side in it up to then.

Creating a match day thread for a big game is worryingly obsessive? You come out with some fucking weird shit.

Anyway - back on planet earth. Decent, open game so far. City look better going forward but shit at the back (as usual).

Possibly because it directly impacts the team he supports?

Wow, we were terrible. How is this 1-1? We need to change something ASAP. Get Coquelin on, the Fernands are dominating the midfield.

Good game as expected - both attacks better than their defence!

Sixth or seventh time I've seen Arsenal this season and the sixth or seventh time they've started playing only after going behind.

Cheers Arsenal!

This gives United a decent chance of sneaking fourth. I'm not sure we've got enough about us to go to Upton Park (for West Ham's final game at the ground) and get the win - but it's in our hands at least.

You're welcome, United.

We played really well for about ten minutes there.

Thank you very much, Arsenal.

Van Gaal will probably rest De Gea on Tuesday night.

Actually thought Giroud did well today.

Barring a Spurs loss we are unlikely to finish above them now. And barring a loss at home to Villa, CL football secured for another year.

Surprised by how empty the stadium is with the players expected to do a lap of appreciation.

And the manager's speech at his final home game in charge of the club.

Pellegrini hasn't perhaps won as much as he could have with the squad he had but he deserves a better "send off" than 3/4 of the home supporters buggering off.

Piss poor show.
