Ok, the reply appears that you need it breaking down, when green left Mansfield for Lincoln it was in June, so the season had yet to start.

The season is yet to take place, even sides like yourselves are in the top 3 at this time of the year, bless ya.

"Even sides like yourselves?" County and Lincoln are both bigger clubs than little old Mansfield. We should both be above you by right anyway, however much you throw at it.

You've only been getting 3000 home fans this season, as a club you're punching above your weight in 11th to be honest. You're in the Yeovil/Crawley/Cheltenham bracket. Pretty small fry. Luton/ Lincoln/Swindon/County/Cov/Chesterfield are all well above you in the food chain. So stop with the illusions of grandeur and give your head a wobble.

Anyway, to get this thread back to some sort of proper conversation, I get the feeling that Cowleys have already worked out that Rhead will be far less effective at this level.

Don't get me wrong, he still does a job to a point and occupies defenders (and he's played a few nice through balls) but we've already seen him subbed and not start more times than probably the last two seasons. In an ideal world, I think they'd like to get Knott in a central area but when Rhead's not in there, we've got no real out ball when we're defending and need to get up the pitch.

You're going to be struggling for a pub on the high street towards the ground as they'll all be full of Lincoln fans, you're best bet might the social club at the ground.
