Stevenage were very poor, one of the worst we've seen this season. They only had one tactic - play the ref, which didn't really work on this occasion. We could, and probably should, have had another 2 or 3.

1 month with a view of a permanent deal I believe, on todays showing he could be crucial to our season.

1st half was a bit meh but we played some cracking stuff in the second half.

Appears Walsall have a decent side this term, so it made sense we could get someone localish. Much needed player by the sounds of it, good to see how creative we were today by the sounds of it.

Apparently much better in defence with taff and ryan back in the side

We were extremely poor yes, but you were just as hopeless for the first 40, numerous hoofs up front for Green, once you scored you seemed to settle down and play a bit better, but don't go thinking your world beaters just because you beat us, we are hopeless at the moment. :ffs:

The rubbish dive aside, I don't understand the referee comment? He was very lenient on your time wasting (not moaning, we'd have obviously done the same) and you seemed to get the majority of 50/50 decisions, not sure what you're on about tbh!

You explained us in a nutshell, when we pass the ball to feet and move it around we are actually pretty good, and can be an effective side that looks like genuine playoff contenders, when we hoof the ball, which Murray unfortunately tends to have a bizarre inclination to do so, we struggle more and look crap, as you pointed out

If we were playing anyone yesterday with anything about them we'd of lost. Glad to get the win though, Needed that. Not really sure why Chapman keeps his place anymore, Counted 8 different passes in the first half alone that didn't go to a yellow shirt. He was Stevenage's best player first half.
