God these Torquay commentators are a right pair of fucking doyles

Aye, it was a 'Torquay defensive slip' our goal not a defence splitting pass and finish.

It's all we've done like but I'll take it.

My stream cut out and missed the bloody goal

Good game this between two decent sides.

Glad Molyneux started as Holohan has stunk the place out for a while now

HT 0-0

Good game between two high pressing sides but we should be ahead really with the Asante chance and McCourt. Yeovil keeper playing very well

Would like to see us get Nathan Tyson on and give Asante a partner up front once the Yeovil players legs start to tire

Molyneux has looked very good when he's had the ball, feel like we need a second goal cos I can see us conceding in this second half, Torquay are playing some decent football, just haven't tested the keeper at all.

Typical Halifax Town game this season. Miss chance after chance and the opposition go and score their first chance out of nothing. The reason we score goals is because we have so many chances, but we must be the least clinical team in the league.

You can see why they are doing well, tidy side but we've defended well, although we look a little bit open in the middle.

Molyneux has definitely added a bit of quality

Threatening to become a very good title race this, particularly if Sutton hit a dodgy patch soon and we do something with our many games in hand on everyone other than them.

You’re overplaying the ball in and around our 18 yard box, couple of times it would have been wiser for your midfielder/strikers to pull the trigger.

Great finish from Dennon Lewis - shades of Gaza’s flicking it over the Halifax defender and then finishing it in the bottom corner.

A doyle is someone who is not quite a rarf.

They've both got big local radio energy about them.

1-0, the main man Asante!!

Outstanding ball from Whelan and great timing of the run from Asante... should make this second half interesting now as Yeovil open up and try to get back into the game

Whelans goal was good. We should really be up 3 or 4 here and they've not really had a chance. Decent performance to be fair

Edit: as I say that, there is a 3rd

3-0 McCourt with the goal after more good work from ex-glover Tom Whelan winning the ball back, who’s been unplayable today!

Yeovil seem to have put so much effort and energy into the first half that they’ve looked knackered second half!?

We’ve been more than decent today matey, probably our best under Rowe in my opinion

I think you call that a classic defensive performance from us, Torquay play some good football but have absolutely nothing up front, 87 minutes before Killip had a save to make.

That was a good team performance for me, streetwise at times but they worked their bollocks off and that is a big result

Joint top Hartlepool, don't look like they will drop many points, might end up pushing Sutton close.

Well deserved win in the end. Made hard work of it but good value for the 3 points. Do think Stones should have had a pen at the death but we’ve had some stonewall pens turned down this season so as they say, it evens out.

FT 3-0

Pretty even first half despite us having the better chances, but 2nd half complete domination and probably our best half of football under Rowe. Defended excellently, and some of the football has been top draw with some great finishes to give the scoreline a comfortable look, matching the performance really.

Takes us up to 9th, 2 points outside the play offs with 2 games in hand... time for a big push to finally get in there

Thoroughly deserved win. Dominated every stat and finally got the goals. 4 points off the play offs.

Torquay keeper needlessly coming a mile out of his goal for the winner there.

Decent day for us without kicking a ball - need to take advantage against Halifax on Tuesday now.

Spireites looking ominous - fate depends a lot on Asante’s fitness?

It's Sutton's league, they have Barnet amount of games in hand.
It looks like it at this stage doesn't it. Got their game on now. Pitch looks like one of those plastic ones. Would they have to dig that up and replace if if they went up to the league?
