King’s Lynn are our doppelgänger. Completely switched off for our first goal but I’ve got to say our second goal was very well worked.

First time since Wrexham back on the 17th October that we’ve had a 2 goal lead.
What's a 2 goal lead?

Don't see it with us. I know I come across a negative fucker after a 5-0 win but it really was just a 10 minute goal burst against a team shell shocked at going down to 10.

You’re going up, as expected.

We miss the world’s softest pen then Enzio scores a worldie for 1-1.

We are about to win our first league game this season by more than one goal.

I was angry at that penalty decision and I support the team it was awarded for, awful stuff. Great equaliser, though, as ever we’re completely reliant on a good attacking man doing a great goal.

And this Notts County is the story of our half in 1 game. Brilliant first half. Atrocious 2nd half. Until then

Utter shite. I thought the 10/3 on a Halifax win looked mightily generous

Thoroughly deserved win for Halifax. Ardley can go for me, been given every chance and the goodwill of basically everyone. Sacrificing his job at the altar of Doyle and Reeves.

1-1, suppose you have to happy with that after playing 3/4 of the game with 10 men, it was all Altrincham second half but Killip barely had a save to make.

Well we got the win. It took you scoring to start us playing in that 2nd half. Both goals coming from neat turns from Earing in the middle. That lad is just getting better week on week..

No idea where the first half team went for the 2nd half though.

You pressed us so much in the first half that you were knackered and had to sit back, same happened to Chesterfield a couple of weeks ago. You played really well second half too, just in a different way.

We’re absolute dogshit, have been all season.
Ardley, Abbot, Doyle, O’Brien, Turner, and our 500 full backs can all fuck off into the sea. Stealing a living the lot of em.

Big win for the Stones with 6 players out injured (including 5 defenders) and a number now furloughed. Maynard and Saunders making progress despite the constraints; thats wins over Borehamwood and Kings Lynn aswell as draws against Torquay and Eastleigh in their first 7 games.

We got hammered first 10 mins by Maidenhead, they hit the bar and it bounced out just the right side of the line, followed that up with hitting the post and then one of ours getting a deflection from what looks a certain goal, 5 mins later we’re 2-0 up utter madness. The rest of the game was crap two very poor teams scraping it out for a draw.

Not surprised to see Notts fans moaning about Ardley, just too nice a guy and you can’t be nice at this level.

:bang:You have a very limited understanding of the game.

Please fuck off back to the home forum, you're embarrassing us. And yourself. Arsewipe. :ds:
You didn't decide to go play with traffic then? That's a shame.
I'll ask again please go play with traffic.

What about us?
What about us? 3 games ago you said our season was over. It's still over isn't it, surely, otherwise you were talking complete and utter bollocks when you said that. Is that what it is ShayShite, were you talking complete and utter bollocks when you said that, huh? Arsewipe.

It’s quite the nightmare when two midfielders who’s ‘strength’ is little tickover passes in midfield decide they can’t complete a 5 yard pass for 90 minutes...

Thought we’d thrown it away so really pleased to get the win

I have to hand 7,500 sq.metres of fine quality turf , available to deliver mid- Surrey in May. Ideal for football/rugby pitch. E-Mail me for details and cost.

Bloody hell. We made hard work of that. Tend to agree we pressed so well first half we may have tired ourselves out. But we completely stopped playing any form of football. So much hoofball in the second half compared to the first half where we played some brilliant stuff. Did our usual trick of giving away a soft penalty. Luckily, Johnson saved it this time but then some awful defending led to a decent finish from Enzio.

The equaliser woke us up and we began to play football again. Cracking strike from Campbell but Slocombe probably should have saved it. We saw the game out well from that point, I'll give us that. Overall, I think we just about deserved the win and it's a very good 3 points. Shocking performance from County. Expected a lot better from them.

THANK you, how refreshing to hear from someone who understands the game. Unfortunately most of our fans have the same binary understanding as our "special" friend here- you know how it goes: winning=we played fantastic/ not winning=we played shit. :dk:
