After taking 15/15 points in February I expect a bit of a dip in March.

01/03 Ipswich (H) – thanks to the day's results, it won't be too much of a disaster if we lose/draw this which is what I'm expecting. LOSE/DRAW
04/03 Wigan (H) – never sure what you're going to get against teams in relegation battle - a performance that shows exactly why they're down there or one where they fight for their lives. Given my expectations for tomorrow's game, we must win this one and I think we will. WIN
07/03 Millwall (A) – poorest team I've seen this season and don't think they've got a particularly good home record, if they play anything like they did at CR this should be a routine win. WIN
14/03 Derby (H) – tough game, not really sure what to expect. I'll err on the side of caution and say LOSE
17/03 Huddersfield (A) – not really that confident but I think we might just nick it. WIN
21/03 Nottm Forest (H) – pretty sure we'll lose this one. LOSE

9-10/18

Brighton (A) After our recent shocker of a performance, we have to recover. With no direct striker though, will be tough. Nick a 0-1 WIN

Birmingham (H) Got to be winning this too before our tough run, Martin should be back then though so WIN

Norwich (A) They are doing really well, can't really see much happening for us. LOSE

Boro (H) I would think this is tough, but they aren't doing to well right now, struggling for goals. WIN

Wolves (A) Should be an entertaining game with strike forces on offer, torn on a draw/loss but think we will DRAW

10/15 would keep us going nicely.

Norwich (A) - Not feeling confident about this. We could win it, but I don't think we will. LOSE
Leeds (A)
- They're in good form, although throwing away a 2-0 lead yesterday might hit their confidence. DRAW
Brentford (H)
- We beat them comfortably on Boxing Day and they're not as good now as they were then. WIN
Middlesbrough (A)
- Might be able to grind out a draw, which would be a great result. DRAW
Bolton (H)
- Our easiest game on paper, but that doesn't really mean much. Still think we'll have enough though. WIN
Watford (A)
- They're scoring freely at the moment, I don't think we'll be able to stop them or outscore them. LOSE

A very tough run of fixtures, the only positives are that our form has improved a bit recently and other teams around us are also playing each other a lot this month.

Forest (H) - Both sides playing well and in good form, sounds like we may have a couple missing - LOSE

Cardiff (A) - No reason we can't get anything based on current form - DRAW

Blackburn (H) - Beaten us twice this season already but both games were during our slump, law of averages says we have to beat them eventually - WIN

Blackpool (A) - We should hopefully just be better - WIN

Reading (H) - Again, with the way we have been playing, we should be looking to win this at home - WIN

I hope the last few weeks haven't given me false hope but this month's fixture list looks a lot kinder to us than February's did and with this pick up in performances and three home games, 10 points should be achievable.

My predictions were pretty terrible last month, so I wouldn't trust most of what I say this time...

Month coming up is difficult to call, probably an easier set of fixtures than April, so if we can keep in it this month I'll be happy! Would be much more confident coming into this month if we had beat Birmingham, a waste of 3 vital points.

Huddersfield (H) - we usually bounce back after a poor performance, especially at home. Got to go with a win here, but not as confident as I should be. - WIN

Ipswich (A) - we were very poor in the home game, a big performance here could be very important, but unfortunately I don't think we'll pick up anything here. - LOSE

Cardiff (H) - one of our better away performances earlier in the season, and helped us build some momentum towards the play offs. If we want to get into the play offs, we have to be winning this sort of game. I think we might slip up here. - DRAW

Blackburn (A) - could be a game that suits us. We were very good against them at home, fancy us to get a point away. - DRAW

Millwall (H) - need to win this, should win this, will win this. - WIN

8 points for the month, hopefully we win one of the 2 games I have marked as a draw and turn it into 10. With a lot of the other teams playing each other, 10 should see us into top 6 place.

3-4 points, continuing our slide out of the league. But a Wembley semi to look forward to.

Brighton (A) - Given the players we have out, I don't think we'll get anything. LOSE

Birmingham (H) Martin should hopefully be back. WIN

Norwich (A) Thorne will hopefully be back. LOSE

Boro (H) - Bent might be back. DRAW

Wolves (A) - They're doing quite well at the moment. LOSE

4 points from 15. Season over.

Brighton (A) - Without a recognised striker this is going to be tough. Draw.
Birmingham (H) Won't be as easy as the away fixture was but I'm hopeful of three points. Win.
Norwich (A) This was always going to be our biggest game of the season despite the Bournemouth/Derby game being bigged up. Since they came to ours I've seen them a few times and they've been very impressive. Lose.
Boro (H) - Home form has been pretty sound against the top teams, just one off games against the likes of Wigan and Forest that have stung us. Good team though, Draw.
Wolves (A) - Another team doing well, I'll go for a smash and grab here. Win.

8/15. Confident we'll still be in the mix come April.

Lot's of tough games for us this month, whilst some of the bigger games are unpredictable I think we'll be good enough for a couple of wins at least in March. There's no signs over our season to make me believe we won't come up with the goods. Nothing is surprising at this point of the season, we could win at Norwich and lose at Wolves or vice versa, wouldn't raise any eyebrows either way.

I think this will be a bad month for us

- Bournemouth (away) DRAW
- Watford (home) LOSE
- Brighton (away) DRAW
- Sheff Wed (home) WIN
- Derby (home) LOSE

5 points out of a possible 15 to pour water over our play off push.

Still after all that we'll still be 8th by the end of the month no doubt.

A single unitary authority for urban Dorset
Wolves H 1-1 Draw
Fulham A 1-1 Draw
Blackpool H 2-1 Win
Cardiff A 1-0 Win
Middlesbrough H 2-1 Loss

On paper, an easier set of fixtures than horrible February, but they come at a time when we're less than our best. A couple of wins would get us moving in the right direction again.

Fulham (H) - Beat them 5-0 at the Cottage so will be keen for a bit of revenge and of course won against Derby. However think we will take this by 2.

Wolves (A) - Very tough away game against a side in form and scoring goals without giving much away. Draw.

Reading (H) - Not got the best record against them at the Vic but probably shade this.

Wigan (A) - Well we probably ought to win but be typical of us not to.

Ipswich (H) - Potentially a big game at the top and they edged us out at Portman Road but think we will take the points this time.

Things would be so much better if we'd have had a poor month and got just one win somewhere, instead we've had a catastrophic one and fucked it up completely. :ds:

Whilst the last 6 games has seen an 11 point swing from us being 5 clear to 6 behind, I don't think we can rely on anyone to go on as bad a run as we have for the last 7.

You mean like the Birmingham game where we were 2-0 up after 92 minutes?

We did manage 8 points in the end. The games I thought we'd do badly in we did well, and the ones I thought we'd do well in we did badly. If only we could have turned Cardiff and Millwall into wins (which we really should have) it would have been a great month.

So I said 3-4 points, we got 9. Better than expected, but leaves us in mid-table, unlikely to change for a while. Still chance of a Wembley semi though. :2thumb:
