The Wednesday
Rotherham (h) - should have too much for them and get over our mini wobble but we haven't beaten them at S6 since the early 80s and there is the Warnock effect!

Brighton (a) Draw, two sides who played out an entertaining goalless draw back in November

Forest (a) Defeat, we win at Forest when unexpected and lose when we are due a win

Charlton (h) bit of a bogey side for us but can see us beating them and perhaps hammering them.

I never do these because of how unpredictable we are... as seen in the last week where we've won 1, drawn 1 and lost 1 and our best performance was the loss.

But fuck it.

Derby (A) Loss, I know they're not great at the moment and I'm sure we'll give it a good go but clinical teams are our worst nightmare and with the individual talent they have I can see them being just that.

Reading (H) Win, because poncy southern teams never like midweek games oop norf. And they have their cup QF 3 days later.

Burnley (H) Loss, see Derby... be a good game though I'm sure.

Leeds (A) Win, really think Wagner will mastermind this one.

Forest (H) - Win, despite our injury list I don't see them causing us too many problems.

Bolton (A) - Win, have to take 3 points from games like this one and I expect we will.

Cardiff (A) - Defeat, too strong for us at home with us likely to still be missing several key players.

Blackburn (H) - Draw

Rotherham (H) - Win

10/15... I've tried to be realistic. We're fairly poor at the moment but 4 out of 5 of these games are very winnable. These games are being played at the right time whilst we are well short of full strength. Anything less than the above means we can kiss goodbye to any faint top 6 aspirations.

Cardiff (H) - the eagerly anticipated home game. I'd love for us to smash these c*** but they've picked up again in the last few weeks.

0-0.

Wolves (A) - our record at Molineux is horrendous, I don't know anyone that has ever watched us win there. Not sure I want to make my fourth trip to Molineux given our recent records there, but think we'll nick something from this.

1-1 draw.

Fulham (A) - second biggest away following of the season against a team that can't defend. They've got firepower up top mind, so it's hard to call this one.

2-3 win.

Bolton (H) - hopefully by the time this game comes around it won't mean as much to us as it does to them. Can imagine Zach Clough will get the 'Maynard treatment'.

2-2 draw.

6/12. I'd be more than happy with that.

Blackburn A - Need to be winning this really to go back top and put the pressure on the others. A lot of our recent games with Blackburn involve their keeper being motm in a 0-0 draw. Win

Wolves H - Again we really should be winning this, although I did think they looked alright against derby yesterday. Win

Rovrum A - Draw, just because it's Boro and I know from experience we won't go up easily.

Charlton A - Win. Looking at their forum their fans are going to do their best and disrupt this game as they see it as a good opportunity to get their protests noticed on sky. We could easily score a few here.

Hull H - Draw. If we do what we need to in the next 4 games then we will be top and a draw here wouldn't be a bad result.

11/15 and top of the league I would have thought. I realise I'm putting too much faith in Boro making it easy here.

Ipswich (H) - win about time we beat them
Preston (H) - win, they don't beat us often

Wolves (A)- Reckon we'll win this one, Wolves are crap aren't they? 2-1 win.
Fulham (A)- Agree with JJH on this one 3-2 win.
Bolton (H)- Really should win this. But we won't. 1-1 draw.

8/12, i'd be really happy with that.

Sorry to be a pedant Josh but that's 8/12 mate.

Crapdiff (H) - Can't stand them and everything they stand for. 1-1.
Wolves (A) - They looked decent on Saturday on the tele but we're decent as well. 1-1.
Fulham (A) - 4,000 cidereds in the big smoke against a notoriously inconsistent Fulham side. Could be any result. 2-2.
Bolton (H) - Abuse Clough day, wnaker! Hope we batter them and let the little gobshite mummies boy know it! 3-0.

6/12 for me. Pretty much safe at the end of the month IMHO.

Bristol (A) - Another 6-0 would be nice, even a 1-0 would do, just to put them back in their place. Probably a draw though. Draw.
Leeds (H) - After the embarrassment of losing to them earlier on, we have to make up for it. Win.
Ipswich (H) - Seem to have faltered a little bit, hope we can capitalise on it. Probably not though. Draw.
Reading (A) - Meh, probably draw this one as well.

Preston (A) - Win: Expecting a tough game but think we could knick it.
Sheff Wed (H) - Win: Thinking we'll grind a win out of this one in a tight game.
Reading (H) - Win: They've plummeted since we last played them, would hope we'd have enough for the win.
MK Dons (A) - Win: Should be a massive away following and fingers crossed for another win.

Pah, every man and his dog is owned by a billionaire nowadays, even we've got one!
I won't be heading there no, work commitments come first sadly. Probably for the better anyway, whenever I go away we always lose!

D2 L3 in the month.. safe to say not the best.

Admittedly one league game we completely threw away in preparation for a cup game we lost anyway.. The other three games were all marginal, we could have won them all, but didn't.

This was the month our season ended though. League campaign on the 5th March, Cup on the 11th.

Is McDermott under any pressure yet, or will he be given the summer to build his side?
