Aren't they rich now? I expect a Turkish manager and then the importing of loads of players for their owner (agent) to flog into the higher leagues.
At least thats supposed to be the scam he is running.

Cheltenham were certainly worse off after Yeates departed (was sacked).

Wanted new manager. Ability to speak Turkish a bonus but not essential. Ability to get a club that got too big for its boots back on track preferably while staying in the league. Preference for attacking football but after the last two managers any type of football will be a bonus.
Must be aware that most other clubs dislike us (no idea why) but don't worry as we have no transfer budget anyway. Knowledge of lower league football essential but could be waived if you have a Turkish name.

Please apply in writing to (if the nurses let you have a pen) The Broadfield Morgue.

Crawley and Morecambe are showing worrying signs for next season (encouraging for the rest of us), Newport will be down there again if not careful.

Crawley have been on a downward spiral, it goes to show what happens when a random tinpot club falls from grace when the owners money goes - football has a strange way of levelling things.

That Accrington can be 2nd on attendances that of a bus shelter shows what can happen when well ran

Apart from Matt Harrold who is a decent bloke (and still a gashead!) i've no other reason to not want to see them disappear into obscurity

Cheltenham were certainly worse off after Yeates departed (was sacked).

We were on a downward spiral with Yates, and had been for 18 months or so. He was kept on too long.

That being said, I don't think we'd have gone down under Yates. Paul Buckle took the baton and ran with that one.

Sadly, and he was a legend as a player at the club, I don't think Yates will do too well anywhere. He came to Cheltenham with a bit of a reputation of bottling at Kidderminster, he then bottled it twice with us before going to Crawley. Can't say I know any of the circumstances of his time at Crawley, I've avoided League 2 like the plague for most of this season, but I wouldn't be surprised if he ends up somewhere like FGR and keeps them bumbling along, but never enough to get over the line.

Dermot Drummy is current odds on favourite.
It would be nice to have someone who hasn't been part of the appointed/sacked merry-go-round of usual suspects, and Drummy seems as good as any that fit that bill.

Hakan Heyrettin getting a few mentions. I don't know much about him except he was at Grays and until January at Luton as a coach. Turkish Cypriot parents.

Mr Drummy is an interesting one. Very good reputation as a coach (Chelsea academy) and looking too get into management. Shame we haven't got a training ground for him to work his magic on! In case you hadn't heard we have trained oin local playing fields at times this season. When looking at the way we play you can see it too.

Hayrettin played for us in the early 90s, although his first-team opportunities were limited. He was going to join a Turkish club back in 1990 but the start of the Gulf War put paid to that as he was liable to be conscripted into the Turkish army!
