The double your wages and transfer kitty will appeal to Koeman- so long as they then don't sell the likes of Barkley, Stones and Lukaku.
Barkley doesn't want to leave the other 2 can go at ridiculous prices.......... most Evertonians will be happy for the £100 million+ it will be put in part towards the new stadium on the banks of the Mersey on the city Skylline.

Everything is win win for us atm.

Barkley would stay, I don't think the market for him would be that big anyway given his hype train has well and truly stalled.

Eddie Howe's name being mentioned as a possible replacement.

That would be underwhelming and I'm not even sure he'd leave Bournemouth.

Eddie Howe needs to stay at Bournemouth and properly learn his trade there. He's done very well but his match-day approach is very stubborn with no plan B. Southampton would be a bad move. They've had such a good few years that he'd inevitably do worse. Southampton should have a look at Unai Emery if Koeman goes.

When Koeman does eventually leave, all I can say is thanks for leaving us in Europe.

I had high hopes for this summer/next season. Even daring to believe that we'd no longer be the feeder team of the bigger clubs in the Premier League. I think I got carried away with Leicester winning the title and playing in the Champions League next season and that fueled a hope that it was still possible for us to do it when it looked impossible before the Foxes managed it.

But now, once again after a successful season the summer has hit, the feel good mood is over and it's all a bit 'meh'. As for the move itself, well it's a strange one. We're supposed to have a billionaire owner, made millions through player sales over the last couple of years, the TV money is more than enough on it's own and as previously mentioned, we're in Europe. There shouldn't be any reason why we can't offer Koeman what Everton are offering, but we've never been the club to stand in the way of our best prospects, unfortunately. There were even mutterings of a new stadium/expansion for us a few years a go, although that has since been swept under the carpet.

Now I'll repeat again what I said last summer. We can't keep losing our prize assets and hope to replace them with individuals as capable as those that are moving on. We were incredibly fortunate this season, as to put it bluntly last summers recruitment was shit. It will eventually blow up for us, as it did in 2005. This left the club dropping down to League 1, I was still there, but the people at the top making the decisions were long gone.

Who to go for after Koeman? Well Pellegrini's one name that I wouldn't be too disappointed with. Although one of his major downfalls at City was his defence. We're a club that's built on a solid defence/goalkeeper. We signed much better centre backs than City for a lot less money and I certainly don't want to see Demichelis or Caballero anywhere near our side. As Lee mentioned Unai Emery, he'd be a good appointment, although Sevilla have another shot at the Champions League next year. Eddie Howe's a no. Bournemouth just works for him and at Bournemouth he's always managed the underdog. Burnley didn't go to plan.

Losing a manager who you have confidence in was a large part of the Leicester fairytale. Try and employ someone who has a complete meltdown in internationals.

Hodgson for Saints.

Ronald wiping his arse with a West Germany shirt at Euro 88. Hopefully he recreates this iconic image during next season's Merseyside derby.

Yeah - the shirt probably wouldn't have tasted sweet after receiving treatment like that.

If this goes ahead I can only really feel for Southampton. If he leaves then clearly it's about money, both teams are in a strong position to progress, I don't actually think there's much separating them in that department. Only thing Everton have that Southampton can't offer (that would make a difference to Koeman) is a great all-round budget.

To be fair to Koeman though I'm sure he'll be peeved that Southampton have generally been a selling club and probably sees that Everton have resisted ridiculous offers for players like Stones in the past so he probably feels if he gets a decent side together it's not going to be ripped apart by bigger cheque books. Which is what happens continually to Saints.
