I do find it pretty funny that the one game John-Lewis doesn't play, we get a HUGE swing like this. Love the guy to bits but the change on the pitch is very welcome.

Anyone would think we hadn't won 6 out of the last 8 with LJL in the side? Not sure LJL not playing has helped Barnet and Bristol be losing though if that's what you meant.

We turned up today finally, and again it should have been all over at half time. Great strike from Morris again, technically he's superb. Some bellend Chester fans in the home end, swiftly dealt with in the first half. Nice to know that they paid to get in and were thrown out just after the goal.
Great first half should of been 2 or 3 up half time, once again sat back a bit 2nd half but Chester offered no real threat in the end. Very very happy! If we keep our key players, get Morris back, add a few to the squad we could be up there next season, but as we know we normally lose our best players on free transfers

Put your stats away, I was pointing out that it's merely coincidental. God forbid he doesn't get to start though, no doubt will be thrown straight back into the side at the earliest opportunity so we can continue our 1-0 struggles.

If Rovers equalise or go on to win here I'm not sure I'll be able to continue living.

Surely Halifax aren't going to fail to win against a Dartford side who have had ten men since the 19th minute? And surely Nuneaton aren't going to keep a clean sheet? Wild day!

I'm as happy as anyone that we have scored 2 today, and thankfully you have said its coincidental but am pretty sure certain other posters will take your view seriously and honestly believe today (if it stays as it is) is all down to LJL being out!

Obviously it's not all down to him being out.

BUT it is about time he was dropped and it would be frustrating if he just waltzed straight back into the side. Especially given both strikers scored today.

I'm just glad we've finally had the chance to try out another partnership and I honestly wish we could keep trying it out, but I think we all know Hurst won't allow that.

and I'd agree with you that providing both are fit next week they should both start after today, but I'm just saying I fully expect certain fans to say today is because of LJL not playing despite us getting 18 from 24 in the last 8 games.

I hope the hive is deafening with boos towards Allen right now. Absolutely terrible decisions from him have turned our season right on its head. Had enough with the bloke, he can leave us for a 4th time. Just let's do it on our terms now please.

We've only gone and fucking won away from home.

This is too much, I need a lie down. Dover should be punished with immediate relegation for this, terrible.

What the dick are #TheMaccMachine playing at drawing at home to such dross? Such a missed opportunity.

If Woking knew how to play against decent sides they might have had a chance at the top 5. One win against sides in the top 10 in 15 games is far from good enough. Even the worst Grimsby side ever took 6 points of them!

What a ridiculously good day for us. Said it before, we win when others lose and lose when others win. We're still one loss from being out of it IMO.

Has he scored from open play in any of those? Today was huge, do I trust Hurst to capitalise on it and stick to the same side? Not really.

However, for the fîrst time since we came down here, I think we're in a title race.

If Grimsby somehow win this now, it'll be the biggest insult to the Conference since Steve Evans. You've been crap and got away with it.

Everyone is shitting their knickers at the top. FGR could even snatch the title yet.

Braintree. Am I the only one that forgot about them in recent weeks?

They've done nothing of any note this season.

In the previous 4 games including the loss to Bristol he made one change to the starting line up and that was the last game against Braintree with Pittman coming back from injury, and then today he has made one change because LJL wasn't available, not sure why you think he doesn't stick to the same side.
