Looking forward to see who Tranmere get drawn against in the next round of the cup. Would like Marine away or FC United at home. Pity Sepp Blatter doesn't do the draw as I'd send him some money to fix it for me.

Eastleigh up next at Prenton park for a slowly improving Tranmere team. Think Eastleigh can pack a punch but are somewhat glass jawed at the moment. 2-2 in front of 5000.

Looking forward to Saturday. I am quietly confident despite us being extremely patchy and inconsistent at the moment. We have already beaten Hednesford 4-0 in the league.
And I cant fear a team who has Kyle Perry as their joint top scorer!

Elsewhere would love Spalding to beating Sporting Khalsa and draw Lincoln at home.

My tips for a shock are Leiston to beat Gloucester, Wingate to beat Weston Super Mare and Whitley Bay to beat Chorley

You'll get us at home in the next round!
No offence but I bloody hope not! Dont want a reacquaintance with Wrexham either. A simple home draw against a lower league side would be welcome. We need to overcome Hednesford first though

We have a terrible record against Burr sides (1 win in 8 I think) and for that reason, I'm not too confident going into the weekend.

Another trip to Boreham Wood for me. Couple of Orient lads on loan at Welling, Harry Lee and Sandro Semedo, plus ex Os George Porter and Afolabi Obafemi. Should be a good game, intrigued to see where Boreham Wood are going wrong.

I see you've learned what's good for you and finally included us in a preview... ;)

All joking aside, it really is a huge game for us. This is the furthest stage we've reached in the FA Cup, and a win would give us the chance of facing one of you "big" clubs from the conference national or whatever tinpot name you are calling it these days (I gave up at blue square).

Last time we reached this stage we were facing a team from 3 leagues above us away with little but a pipe dream of success. They were on good form and went on to get promoted. This time we are at home to a team one division above us, who are not on great form at all. While we're missing a few players I would rather not be missing for such a big tie I'm quite excited by the prospect. This time there is a realistic chance of progression. We'll probably end up blowing it now!

He's still misspelt your name though.

Still showing up misspelt to me!...

He's still misspelt your name though.

You know I didn't even notice that, just scanned the list to see if our fixture was there quickly before throwing around insults for believing we are not big enough to include as our tie doesn't feature a conference north/south side...

Big game on Saturday for the Moors, at home to Worcester City and also a possibility of beating our record attendance of 877.

Anyone seen both us and Bromley in recent weeks? Is it going to be the hammering I'm expecting?

We've become quite hard to beat at home (only lost to FGR), but an absolute pushover away. Would take a draw against play-off chasing Imps

Can't wait for the cup draw, just hope for a home game in the 4th QR, we always seem to be drawn away!

Dover is a long way to go to get beat. Not optimistic about this one.

Aye, been to both our games away at you both and even though I rate you more, Bromley will probably win.

They pretty much just have one excellent player.

I've got a horrible feeling that there will be flash floods in Braintree on Saturday and the game will be called off.

Things have always conspired against me and this will be my first visit to Braintree. The season of the 5-0 defeat I was all booked on a minibus to go but was rushed into hospital the day before and spent that day in the operating theatre having my head cut open! The following season, again I was all booked to go on the Saturday, but the game was postponed and my brother had bought me tickets for a Christmas present to see Milton Jones at Grimsby Auditorium on the evening it was rearranged for. The next season when we drew 0-0 last game of the season, I was on a stag do in Nottingham (although if there had been anything riding on that game, then I would have gone) and last season it was when I was away on holiday!

Eastleigh, a hard one to call as they won at Wrexham, more than Rovers were capable of, but then lost to Braintree. Visitors should be more refreshed after a midweek break. Agree with Back in the DHSS that 2-2 feels about right, although with a poor visiting support I can't see the crowd topping 4.8k.

FA Cup, I'd like us to make the first round draw, so a home tie against a lower league side would be preferable. I'd rather steer clear of FC Man Utd. If we're away, Burscough, Bradford Park Avenue or Stalybridge Celtic would be good.

Off to Tranmere Saturday. Expecting to get beat. But said that before we went to Wrexham. Whatever happens, still gonna be a great day out for me and my fellow Eastleigh fans.

Missing the Eastleigh game, stuck in York on saturday. Though I do have a date in the evening, so not all bad! Anyway, I've seen Eastleigh once this season, when Chester completely outplayed them, and wasn't impressed at all, so I'm being optimistic for a change, and going for 2-0 Rovers. Mangan and Norwood to score. Having said that, my predictions are usually dire.

Jesus, everyone has dates recently. You have no time for the opposite (or same if that's your preference) sex, you must devote everything to your shit, tinpot football club. If she is happy seeing a football in the air for 95% of the time, then please disregard my previous statement. In fact, buy her a puppy.

As for us, we have our two bogey sides in Chester and Welling coming up. A point at the Deva would be fine, but come on, we really should be finally beating the latter. 4 out of 6 would be satisfying, any more than that and I will be terrified that we're finally turning into a decent side.

Haha, my deepest apologies, Crazy!

She's already got a puppy.

Listen to Crazy everyone, do not subject them to your shite football team. I took mine to a Boxing Day game at home vs. Crewe, we hammered em 4-1 and she still hated it and holds it against me to this day. Though by not taking her since it's kept her more than happy and never mind a puppy, she gave me my first child 12 days ago, so the Macc following has just increased by 17%!

Alas due to the new arrival I'll be taking the game in via the dulcet tones of BT Sport and the legend that is Clem. We usually do ok in front of the cameras but we also do like to give teams their first wins, and Kiddie seem to be bringing a few new faces in which I get a horrible feeling will see them play with much less pressure. If we perform like we have for the past 3 games (hopefully with Dennis back) then it should be straightforward enough, but that very rarely happens.

My missus asked me what the score was after the game against Wrexham on Tuesday and when I told her it was 2-2, she said "does that mean they both win?". Questions like that are why I won't be taking her to a game anytime soon.

As to Eastleigh on Saturday, expecting a tough game but we've done well against teams in the top half this season. Hopefully we start with Harris and Maynard centre mid as we look far more of threat going forward than if Jennings plays.

1-0 with Mangan continuing his scoring run.
