Fuck me, you're more optimistic about our chances than any Town fan - you sweet, deluded fool!

Anything other than a walloping today would be nice. So many injuries at a crucial time in the season!

I'm sure you will be welcomed by both sets of fans should you make yourselves known. I'll make a point of coming down to the away section to hello if you like?

 what a fucking bellend

JJH why do people keep wanting to meet you to 'say hello' at football matches?

All go in the first half at Bolton.

Still don't think we'll hold on for 45 minutes so will still be delighted with a point. Just pleased we didn't give up, so easy to let your heads drop when going a goal and man down after 11 minutes. Will give some credit to Robinson for that, would never have happened under any of our other recent managers.

2 points dropped today, in total control of the game and we let Walsall back in due to awful defending as a team. Frustrating but we would have lost that before Christmas.

Point against the Shrews, take that and move on. Both sides had gilt-edged chances to win it in the second half, but first half we bossed.

Incredible from us.

Finally, a real show of strength, ability and character, something that has been lacking for a long time.

Robinson has his critics but as I said earlier, huge credit to him. No other recent manager would have got that out of the players, looks like they're prepared to fight for him. Refreshing.

Typical, I've seen us lose/draw at Bolton about 5 times and today when I don't go, we pull that off. I'm hearing the whole team were heroes but Rudd, Watt and Forster-Caskey in particular.

Very proud Charlton fan right now, days like this are few and far between recently so going to enjoy tonight.

Superb result against Newcastle. :woo:

We scored from 3 corners, which is unheard of for us! Curtis Nelson and loanee debutant Toni Martinez scored their 1st goals for us. Simon Eastwood was fantastic for us saving a Mitrovic penalty, making a stunning save towards the end of the 1st half as well as a couple of very good saves before that.

Mitrovic (Serbian International iirc) was comical to watch today, had a tantrum early on, slipped on his arse when clean through and then saw his penalty saved. Best comment on the local radio coming back "Jonjo Shelvey had more impact on the bench for Newcastle than last season for Swansea" .

We were pretty inept, have to say Parkinson is starting to annoy me with his sideway ball tactics and one up front at home, down to 10 men we should have won but again like swindon, Charlton kept battling andon effort alone deserved the points

Very good, wasn't much to deal with but won everything and had one cleared off the line from a corner. A very solid debut and looked what we need.

Swindon, I mean this with due respect as I don't want it to seem a rival post, I really think you're down unless Williams goes. Today we just pressed every time the keeper had the ball and you fell to shreds, it was like the forced playing out of the back that embraces mistakes. Would be fine if the manager had installed a plan b but there was no such thing.

I genuinely don't want to lose the games between us unless the unlikelihood that we go up, so would be a shame, but they need to sort out the system they have going. I'd imagine a big couple of days for them.

Well it was a walloping, on paper at least. We actually played a lot better than last weeks embarrassing performance v Oxford. Logan had a mare again in goal and their first goal was offside. Crazily we really did deserve something from today's tie and the scoreline definitely doesn't tell the whole story. We now have 7 starting XI injured too. Winning manager of the month has cursed us in more than one way! Completely different from last weeks drubbing anyway though. Huddersfield were nothing special in truth, but for Logan's mistakes, we may have got something. You always knew though missing two big opportunities in the first half to probably be 2-0 up would come back to haunt us and so it proved.

Rovers vs Swindon was absolutely dire, couple of moments of quality, one from Bodin which ended up in the back of the net and the other from Colkett where he played Brophy in behind but it got squared and came to nothing.

Fuck me I hope we don't come down, I can't stomach watching that shit every week and being in the same league as Rovers.

I'm pleased for him but to be honest I'm annoyed seeing him play for you. A very good young player we develop who stoke take off us ( yes they paid us but we had no choice really) then they lounging back to a team the same division what is the point. He was already paying league 1 football for us. Anyway good luck to the lad. I think he is probably a championship player eventually rather than a Prem.

16 minutes of stoppages at Sixfields today, but Christ Coventry were poor today. Should have been 4/5-0 to us

Posh 0 - 4 Dons - Surely the gap to the play offs is to big ?

12 wins from 19 games puts us on 70 points.

It would take a run like we finished 14/15 season with (28 points form 30) at some point. I genuinely don't think we have a big enough squad when the games come back to back and Robbie willl need to make changes. That will be our downfall, but we'll take a few scalps along the way,

It would not surprise me in the slightest if we go down. We are murder currently and no sign of improvement.

Had to be Billy Bodin getting the winner also!

I have to begrudgingly accept that's a top result.

Predictable yet again from us. Laughing stock at the moment. With all due respect to Rovers and Oxford fans, to be so far behind you given that you've both been in non league recently is joke and shows how quickly we're going backwards.

Shambles.

Should have been 4 up at half time. The Swindon goal certainly led a charmed life. Bodin and Harrison both had chances they'd score 9/10 and Sweeney had a goal bound header cleared off the line. Swindons keeper kept them in the match.

Hit the bar in the second half but failed to get the second goal which made for a tnse final 15 minutes where Swindon finally put us under a little pressure but failed to really test the keeper once.

A deserved 3 points.

Sounded ridiculous on the radio. Only so many times you can hear 'a Rovers player picks up the second ball'. Turned off at half time.

Millwall played well, but we could have assembled a 1FF team and we would have beaten Watford today.

They were atrocious. They would have lost to most L1 sides today.

Yeah Watford were pretty bad, but I'll take it.

Another middling Premier League team at home please, they seem to like sending their reserves who aren't very good.
