Welling United v Tranmere Rovers (Early kick off - BT Sport)

Aldershot Town v FC Halifax Town
Altrincham v Cheltenham Town
Barrow v Eastleigh
Boreham Wood v Grimsby Town
Bromley v Gateshead
Chester v Forest Green Rovers
Kidderminster Harriers v Braintree Town
Lincoln City v Wrexham
Macclesfield Town vWoking
Southport v Dover Athletic
Torquay United v Guiseley

I am back to Boreham Wood, which frankly sounds like a bad 80s film. I was at their game v FGR, really impressed me actually - Bar Guthrie's header they didn't really have a shot - whereas Boreham Wood hit the bar three times.

Said a few times on here I expect Boreham Wood to be play off dark horses, which inevitably means they'll be in a relegation scrap. I doubt there's a better defender in this league than Scott Doe, I'm still slightly baffled as to the fact he's dropped into non-league when he could probably do a good job at a team like Gillingham. They also have a player who dominated the show against Forest Green in Billy Clifford; although he missed the bank holiday match against Dover so not entirely sure what's going on there.

Expect it to be a good game, it's all ticket, looking forward to seeing Grimsby. How many fans are likely to make the journey down?

Yes, good team Borehamwood and have some useful players. Wish Tranmere had Scott Doe in their defence. Borehamwood are a very unfashionable club at this level and I think that's part of the reason why Tranmere fans were so upset at getting beat by them.

I'm off to Welling on Saturday, bought my train tickets before the game was moved to an early kick off.
Thinking of going to the Bromley v Gateshead game after the Welling game has finished! Is this do able? Anyone with local knowledge would be appreciated.

We are away at Chorley on Saturday for our first ever meeting,

Unfortunately I am in London though which is a big pity.

With the news of a boost upfront with the signing of a striker I think we can o there with nothing to fear. Fancy us for a point but I think it will be a tough game

Someone should photoshop the cheering fat guy with the Mansfield scarf onto that photo.

I never know what to expect with a game against Lincoln. This year I am mostly expecting us to have 90% ball possession. Passing it prettily around their flat footed players before losing to their only shot on goal. A tap in for the pie man after we fail to defend a corner.

TV games.. often a disaster for us in the past, hopefully a bit different this time around.

It'd be nice to see us revert to 4-4-2 / 4-2-4 and take the shackles off of our front players. With Jennings and Harris both naturally defensive in the middle, there's no reason why we couldn't do it.

We should still have a good 500-600 there I think, It would have been nearer the thousand mark but we've had a fairly disappointing start to the season.

The game was initially made all ticket and we sold just over 400 but it's now pay on the day. I'm looking forward to adding a new ground to my list, number 160 for me. I'm meeting my London based brother and friend in the Hart & Spool Wetherspoons before the game for a few pre-match drinkies.

We have Worcester City at home on Saturday. They come into the game on the back of 4 straight loses and with 3 players suspended but have added to their attacking options with Lee Hughes. As for County we will also be missing 3 players including star man Abs Baggie. I could probably name 9 of the starting 11, with Young having to decide which striker partners Dyson up top and decide between Thorniley and Connolly in defence.

There will be no losing my voice abusing the referee for me this week, as I'm in the press box covering the game for Non League Live.

We've officially been assigned meltdown status by the rest of the division. Long standing Grimsby supporters Vanni, GodsGift and MasterD have declared that there is absolutely no way we will go up with that mad hatter Hurst in charge. Chris FGR's team is top of the league with a 100% record but he has barely noticed because he has several folders of Grimsby related memes to get through. Fans from far flung locations such as Chester, Barrow and League Two are even finding the time to remind us that the division was sewn up by us in July.

Paul Hurst happened.

At this rate he'll not make it past 10 games. And there will be few tears shed in Grimsby over that.

Barrow 0-? Eastleigh - to most people it seems a question of "how many?".

Chairman is over from Dallas to effectively give the manager a 4-game ultimatum. Unless of course Saturday is the bloodbath many are expecting.
Are Eastleigh that good? They've certainly got a lot of players that we've all heard of.
Barrow have zero confidence, and manager might do something crazy under the pressure - though it's usually times like these we pull a surprise out of the bag.
I'm not confident...

Eastleigh are not that good, draws against 2 weak sides and 2 of their wins were fortunate. Second flatters them a bit but I suspect they will still prove to strong for you.

Assuming you're going by public transport, not really unfortunately. Trains take about an hour (plus 10-15 minute walks from the ground) and would involve 1/2 changes at intermediate stations as you have to go towards London and back out again. Buses might be slightly quicker but would involve a few changes and a lot of hassle, plus you'd still arrive 30-40 minutes late anyway. Hope this helps.

Might have better luck by cab, but be prepared to pay an utterly extortionate amount of money.

Thanks for that. Might take a taxi, although I still think that would be pushing it.

According to CityMapper (great app), it's 76 minutes door to door by bus. Cab is 22mins and that should get you in for kick off - granted no clue what traffic is like there - however it's likely to be £39+ apparently.

Citymapper is possibly the best app of all time.

We'll be without Howe again (out for a month with ankle ligament damage), so Nat Brown will probably continue. Hearn returned to full training earlier in the week. Doubt he'll start, but if does, a front three of Hearn, Rhead and Hawkridge doesn't look too shabby on paper.

Nil points. We're too easy to play through thanks to a weak midfield (IMO).
