More battle than football from us today but we won ugly to take a massive three points.

York played pretty well today.
our hit & hope was painful to watch

That win was a lot easier than the scoreline suggests. We were in total control and 2-1 flattered Southport a lot.

Annoying that we conceded a soft consolation but can't complain with 10 wins out of 14 at home in the league this season.

Sticky first 15 minutes but once we scored it was all one way traffic. Ferriby striker went around our keeper and somehow hit the side netting. No surprise they have only scored 14 goals all season.

We should have scored more late on but 0-4 is decent away.

Momentum is key just a shame we have no game next week. But rest for those that need it and more training for those coming back from injury.

Think this could be an interesting run in.
