Every time I've listened to those guys they are always speaking at length about hill fog. Seems to be their main preoccupation, and their biggest fear.

When your ground is more than 160m above sea level there is always a worry about hill fog.

Is it a sort of John Carpenters 'The Fog' type deal? Ghostly pirates?

No, if you get lost in the fog you are more likely to bump into a Llama...you need to go as far south as Bristol to find a pirate!

FFS what are we gonna do, we can't blame Hurst for this one.

Sounds like we've been unlucky really. But it's the same old 'missed chances, sucker punch, shit refereeing decision'

Really need to work on stringing a 90 minute performance not just 45 mins. Being 7th and not really playing at our best yet is in a roundabout way a positive.

Hopefully there are 40 home games left this season, so we might be able to get enough points to make the playoffs.

Sounds like we got the point we deserved after a harsh penalty.

5 mins to go and Constable is subbed for Todd who had retired and is now assist manager!
Doesnt look like the manager wants to win this, despite absolutely battering Alty.
Negative! but an away point.

Good point, one I would've taken before the game so I'm happy with that. Shame to not claw another 2 points on FGR but plenty of games left to play. Wish I could drill that fact into some of our supporters. 108 points left to play for but we can't possibly make up 11 points apparently.

Yes, I see what you mean. A classic Garry Hill defying-the-odds Woking win. After all, who thought it'd be us to end Luton's 27-game unbeaten home run live on BT Sport that night. COYC.
:ds::ds::ds:

Thought we were excellent tonight, given the circumstances. Arthur off injured early on, but still managed to stay vaguely solid in defence with a winger at full-back. Some of the attacking play from Goddard, Murtagh and Bruno especially was absolutely sublime, his pace and trickery for the 2nd goal was immense. Pretty poor performance from FGR but I can see why they're top of the league, pose an attacking threat and look strong at the back but just had an off-day today. Onwards and upwards, if Ricketts,Jones and Arthur return soon and we keep up the momentum then play-offs are definitely achievable. COYC.

Fucking hell, cruel that.

No complaints about the result to be fair, other than I think the goal was probably over time. At least a much improved display from Saturday, much more positive. We look a much better side with Thomson in there, a few boo's actually ringing around when Burr stupidly took him off, should have been Chapell instead. At least we've unearthed a gem in young Sam Hughes who came on, gets stuck in and keeps things simple. When George is back fit I'd pair them and we could have quite a biting midfield partnership there.

Looked a definte penalty to me, a pathetically clumsy challenge from Robertson on Hannah, he just bundled himself on top of Hannah.

Ah well, bring on #TheVision.

I think the extra 30 seconds or so was from the amount of time the ref took to book Heneghan in the initial 4 minutes indicated.

No real complaints here lads, if Higgins had smashed the ball away to his left instead of the right we'd have hung on, small margins and all that.

Gutted, but we did it and worse to Macc a few weeks ago so what goes around comes around!

We won tonight and Brodie earned a bit of luck with the deflection for the winner, but there isnt else much to report. We did ok and maybe should have added to the winning margin, while Welling were terrible and I would be suprised if there are 4 worse sides in this division. Our defence wont have an easier game all season and their goalkeeper struggled to kick the ball without slicing it out of play.

If you had offered me 14 points out of our first 10 games, I would have taken it. Decent start, but work to do if we want to be challenging some of the better sides in the division. After conceding 6 goals in our last 2 games I think a clean sheet was important today, and glad we got it.

Onto Barrow on Saturday, that's going to be a trek and a half!
