Missed the first home game of the season, so this will be the first game in my new seat! Hopefully the Rovers can christen it with a decent home win. Come on you white boys!!! No racism intended...

New seat or not, it'll still have bird shit on it. Mine has!

What worries me about this one is that we have never beaten them ( 3 draws 1 defeat), and in both away games against them we have conceded in injury time, something we have already done twice this season.
Unless we are at least 2 goals up going into injury time, i will be bricking it!

I don't know, we have scored 14 goals in the last 17 league games. Tomorrow will be my first game of the season, but from what I've heard on Radio Robins and read on the forums, we have shown the penetrative qualities of a stick of celery. Last few games last season were the same. I think tomorrow could be a right spanking.

Woking will be tough. Both sides are missing key players.

I think if we can play the side that started at Halifax, we will.

No idea what to expect at Chester. If they decide to park the bus I suspect we'll struggle to break them down as has been the case in our two home games, but if they come at us we could be pretty dangerous. I'll lump for a 1-1 draw.

Can't make the game tomorrow unfortunately, but we're looking good at the moment and only conceded once in the first 3 games, I think we have a decent chance of getting something from this game.

Work got the in the way of me following Tranmere last season, fortunately I would say as it was the worst football I have ever seen. Following back to back relegations, taking 7 points from the first 3 games is a good return and whilst some saw Braintree as two dropped, people (fans) needed the reality check. I believe Barnet and Bristol Rovers both lost there last year too.

The character and determination of our current side is pleasing and I expect that with these attributes in mind we will put in a solid, positive performance tomorrow and win infront of hopefully another circa 6k attendance given the good weather.

Hopefully Diagne's not allowed to play, or even better we can say he has to play for you?!

Just looked at the loan deal and its a clause that he cannot play against us. Don't know why we were so concerned about that to be honest, lucky for you guys though!

Ill be there tomorrow, our fixtures aren't getting any easier this month so a first home win would be ideal.

I think it'll be around 5k, personally, maybe a bit below. Definitely hoping for a good performance though, keep the home moaners on board ;)

We need 3 points tomorrow against Dover to get our season up and running. I didnt go Saturday (thankfully) but I heard we were appalling, lets hope that's the reality check we needed. I think we'll get a 2-0 win, Brodie with both, and the engine will be started on our promotion bus.

Absolutely. Im not sure how this year's Braintree compare to Devonshires team but it's a tougher tie than some unfamiliar with this league might think.

This league is all about banana skins. All of the top teams will drop points at the 'smaller' teams.

You Macc lot are greedy fuckers. You've won once here in the last 459 visits - what more do you want?!
Yeah and look how you punish us, by sending Tony fucking Diagne back to cheshire!

Agreed, though I fancy we should get a default 6 points from Wrexham..

Setting off for Whaddon Road at around 1pm tomorow for our game with Gloucester as I fancy a walk round Cheltenham before the game.

We need that first win but I am afraid I cant see it. Its 12 games without a win now too.

It took us 4 seasons to even score a goal at Braintree!
0 - 5, 0 - 2 and 0 - 0 in our first 3 seasons there! :ffs: :ffs:

We are unlikely to sit back, but just depends if the ball sticks up top.

If we end up lumping aimless balls at Hannah then we will be end up sitting back.

We've actually signed a left back now, so we might stand a chance... Then again probably not. 3-1 Wrexham.

If Langmead plays I think we'll have a chance. I'd also like to see Wright start with Styche up top or maybe Singh

Bit of a mystery isn't it? Hurst was saying that he woke up at 5am and his foot was hurting and that he was going to see a specialist on Sunday. Haven't heard anything since then.

Signing a left back today suggests LRT will be playing centre back to me (and Langmead still missing).. I'm not a Styche fan. Singh has been great from the bench - what does the guy have to do to get a start?!

We drew 1-1 at Cressing Road but they gave us a stern test.
