That inspired managerial change at Stockport is leading them remorselessly to promotion. Do they ever not win about 4-0 each week?

I love him. We have him playing left wing back and he runs up and down like a maniac.
That’s the Mauro we know and love! I was utterly surprised that it took him so long to find a NL club.
After being subject to the horrors of Binnom-Williams, Elliot Johnson looks amazing too.

Huge day for Torquay, through a difficult game with three points and Pools’ defeat probably ends their hopes. Puts a lot of pressure on Sutton to win at Notts tomorrow. Stockport very much still in it with them still having to play Torquay.

Mixed bag for the play-off lot.

Bang solid 4-0 win for County, completely different story second half, the march for top 3 is very much on. Can't see us catching Torquay and Sutton

That defeat ends our small chance of finishing 1st, we had chances to grab an equaliser in the second half, but they also had many chances to extend their lead, they were deserving of the win.

Not too disheartened, hope for a good reaction next week.

So maybe the wind did play a significant part in our game. In the end feel a bit like we should have won, but I'm not going to knock a two goal comeback, and Maidenhead could have nicked the lead back a few times.

I’m guessing it’s because they’ve got the Vase/Trophy today in the slot it would’ve been. 5pm on a Tuesday is very weird.

It should be an interesting game, though. Loads at stake for both.

Well I can't believe we produced that with a defensive team. Huge 3 points for us. 6 points inside the play offs. We might actually get in the play offs here

A terrible human being I would imagine.

Apprantly the reason is to avoid clashing with Non-League finals day (featuring League Two side Harrogate Town).

We've still got a tough game against Bromley next week so you could easily be only 2 points behind (with your artificially inflated goal difference as well ;)) when we play each other.

If Sutton come through tomorrow's game unscathed though I can't see you catching them.

Ah well, a terrible first half couple with a very unlucky second half equals a harsh scoreline and a heavy home defeat. The turning point was the clown of a ref not giving an absolute stonewall pen then Halifax going straight up the other end and making it 2-0. Onto next season.

no reason it wouldn't have happened under Gannon, plus we had that two-month bedding-in period. I'm certain we'd be clear at the top by now if it hadn't happened

Can't believe we're all not playing tomorrow night to be honest, no need to be playing on a bank holiday when there are no fans! Ridiculous decision to make players play two games in 48 hrs for no good reason.

Think it's yours or ours, Sutton will choke.
