We have Orient away ....They had a great result last week beating vale 3-2 with a injury time winner.....Any team Wellans puts out will always be difficult to play against.
Schumacher has said he expects Orient to come out and take the game to us and it may be the first time this season we have less of the ball.
I think Burstow maybe rested after coming off last week even though his scan was clear and he has trained this week......Toal and Sheehan back from international duty but i cannot see where they get back in the team.
High Scoring game i am going 3-1 they will simply be opened up if they come at us and i expect Gale, Duberry and Forss/Burstow/Dalby to simply have to much for the Orient defence.

PS a big well done in selling out our away end today..........Would not go anywhere near London today.

Vale at home. Potential banana skin. Sounds like we may have injuries to Turns and JDH, which is disturbing

Plymouth at home today. They’ve had a poor start but a nice result last weekend.

I’ve always said that at the first international break teams tend to “get their shit together” if they’ve underperformed up to that point. Maybe this won’t apply in this case because of the lack of postponements for them but I can’t imagine they’ll be down there for the entirety of the season.

As for Luton, it felt like some real momentum was building before the 10 day break. Players are getting fitter. I don’t think we’ll see too many changes today, but based on MB’s press conference, I’d be hoping around October things will improve dramatically on that front.

I don’t know how but if there is some new weird and wonderful (and comical to fans of other clubs) way we can lose this we will find it.

Apparently got some players back close to fitness (Stockley and Garrity most notably) not that injuries in any way have hurt us more rank stupidity and wastefulness. Until they show me they can correct course on that I have no reason to have faith today will be any different.

I’m starting to think Huddersfield for all the money they’ve spent might be a case of fools gold.

*checks to see they’re not playing us soon for the inevitable bitch slapping

Well JDH and Turns make the side, but Cox starts ahead of Wareham. Baffling.
And presume Mendes Gomes is already injured..

So Garrity plays still no Jayden Stockley. Also a jet lagged keeper after flying to Australia to play for the national side for 5 minutes. What could possibly go wrong??

One of those games nothing has happened but we’ve somehow out of nowhere scored a couple of times. Exeter if they get the next one are right back in it.

Worst half of the season along with the first half at home to Lincoln
Too many players off it

One ugly game of football but we got the three points. Devante Cole looking a sound reinvestment of the Tolaj money.

Dogshit again, Posh hadn’t won for ages yet we were second best.

I think sadly we’re similar teams, a lot of pissing about and ponderous build-up play, and attacks don’t happen unless you beat the odds with a perfect sequence of short passes, which has a really low chance of coming off.

This was an early relegation six-pointer and we’ve already come out worse.

I said it on the other side. We didn't really need to play well today. Exeter are trying to play this possession based football with 2nd rate players. Occasionally it will come off but if you go behind it just looks like madness.

It was a typical Moore masterclass today. Get in front and then watch the opposition pass it from side to side without getting anywhere. I don't think we had a shot second half but we knew we'd got it wrapped up as long as we kept our shape.

Probably the worst we have played today with the ball but then again we probably should be 8-10 points better off, so I'll take a scrappy win.

I honestly can’t believe what I saw with my eyes today. Incompetence on that pitch from Luton.

To try and unpack what happened yesterday, although I’ve not watched it back:

1. Luton dominate the game. xG of over 3 v less than 1. Over 20 chances yet not a goal from open play.

2. First goal conceded a shit show of defending. Second goal even worse, given away on the edge of box. Christmas come early. Uncharacteristic as a clean sheet yesterday would’ve been the finest defensive start to an EFL season in our history.

3. Third goal conceded comes off the players backside despite turning away to avoid getting hit. The Plymouth players give it the big one in the corner. Sums up yesterday.

4. Plymouth came to frustrate. They didn’t come for a victory. They were trying to slow everything down at every restart even from the first 5 minutes.

5. The second penalty I thought was soft. There was one further incident which was more of a pen than the first two, Alli was booked for diving.

6. The tackle for the red card was a red from the moment he went into him. Plymouth absolutely imploded at that point, yet Luton contrived to lose a game which was unloseable.

7. I was absolutely lost for words at the end. Bloomfield really needs to start getting some consistency going, which I thought he was getting before the international break, yet we take a step backwards again.

8. Booed off at the end, akin to the Edwards era. Thought that was harsh but it’s a build up of frustration in a game where this team painfully underperformed.
