Dave-Vale - A young father (surely legally still a child himself judging by the photos he's posted) with bold, if sometimes slightly simplistic views on most things. I do fear that his parenthood is tarred by his relationship with in-laws and the amount of cider he consumes in his garden on 'days off'.

I'm not usually one for confrontation on here but I'm going to come out swinging after this ridiculous comment.

I'm 25. Although I look about 19. I will have the last laugh when I'm 40 and still look young.

I'm a decent Dad and I work my balls off to make sure my 2 boys don't go without. I get a lot of days off because I've done a strange shift pattern for the last 18 months. I'm assuming that you are implying I don't work or something.

I've just read it back and can see why you may have been offended Dave. It was all intended as tongue in cheek though.

From how you post about your family it's clear that you are a good father, though I have been amused by some of your documented run ins with your Brother in Laws. The part about the cider on 'days off' reads bad, I just remember seeing you post a few times in the Things We Like thread something along the lines of having a cider in the garden when your kids are being looked after by someone else (day off from parenting). I didn't mean to imply you don't work.

Fair enough. I was a bit tired and moody when I wrote that response.

Saddlerad: Definitely the fire safety officer of the forum. Absolutely loves a good old forum wide emergency PM. Coined the term "Twitter handle".
pleg: The only poster just about plugging the massive TomN shaped hole in this forum.
Pagnell: He is the most Pagnell of all the Pagnells, but he's our Pagnell and we're stuck with him so we must love him and cherish him unconditionally.
Leewilson: Once called him a ham sandwich of a poster and I'm sticking to that.
Relentless: Everyone's favourite Irish Man Utd fan.
Martino Knockavelli: Godspeed fearless captain of this once great ship. The one true King of the North. RIP.

Epic is "Irish", like 50% of Americans, compared to the other 50% of Americans - who are "Italian".

Oh yeah that got on my nerves when I was in Canada.

Here in Peru we support our NT no matter how shit we are or become.

In Canada, if Canada is shit at football they go to support Italy, Germany and Spain. If Canada becomes world class, they will say they were "always Canadian".
