Just recently got into this, and I really love this league. I don't like the National Team and would never want a Mexican team winning the Libertadores, but the league in itself is fun to watch.

I saw America vs Tigres yesterday, and the ref completely lost the plot. Univision didn't show the replay for the first sending off, but the other 2 were wrong. America got 2 sending offs in 3 minutes. Benedetto made a poor tackle, but it was never bad enough to be a red and it wasn't last man either. Then Tigres got a man sent off for a headbutt Arroyo made on Jurgen Damm. Arroyo plays for America and made a headbutt to Jurgen Damm but I guess the ref thought Damm did it?

Referee was terrible yesterday. America played really well though for having 10 men and deserved at least a draw. Unfortunately, Tigres got the win at the Azteca.

Pumas will probably top the table, or Club America. Don't know what to say about playoffs though, as anything can happen.

This has probably become my favourite league. So much I love about it. Watched Tigres - Monterrey on the weekend, great game. Monterrey were looking pretty good up until Juarez' red, then it was all Tigres. Gignac is class.

There are a few players I'm not too familiar with like Andrade, and Noya but I had to put them in to fill the budget. While others I had to pick like Edwin Cardona, Gignac and Peralta. Those I simply couldn't miss out on.

About to create a league. The page is Univision so its in Spanish but if anyone wants to join just translate the page and it shouldn't be an issue.

Monterrey won last night with Carlos Sanchez scoring again. He's been a big signing so far in the first 3 games as he's got 3 goals so far.

Monterrey to win the Clausura. They've got a really good team. I'll check my fantasy points by the end of the week.

How did you do this week so far Aaron-Bcfc ?

Mauro Boselli winning me more fantasy points :D I like it

Been an entertaining week in Liga MX. Monterrey win yet again, in a dominant 5-1 performance over Veracruz. Edwin Cardona scoring the goal of the match. Carlos Sanchez was my man of the match. He was excellent, the South American player of the year is making Liga MX look like nothing. I wasn't super impressed when he was at River Plate to be honest, but I didn't watch all of River Plate's matches and I can now see why he got named South American player of the year. He's a real magician and he's got a lot to his game. Monterrey look like a real force. Edwin Cardona, Dorlan Pabon, Carlos Sanchez, Walter Gargano, Rogelio Funes Mori. Its a really powerful squad.

I also watched UNAM Pumas vs Santos Laguna. Pumas were great in the first half. They were just bottling too many chances and they probably should have won the game if they had buried their chances. In the second half, neither team was effective. It was a shite second half if I'm honest. Luduena scored an excellent goal for Pumas, which I will post the highlights below. Pumas is another really powerful team and to be honest, if they have their first team in the Libertadores (which looking at the scorers in the 4-2 win over Emelec, it looks like they do) I'm betting that they're focusing on that instead of the league as they have a realistic chance of winning it. Match overall, wasn't the greatest of games. First half was excellent, second half was dire.

Other results, Club America draw 3-3 against Cruz Azul in a partidazo. Cruz Azul with a goal near the end. Chiapas Jaguares draw at home 1-1 to Chivas Guadalajara. If Chivas still follow the "only Mexican players" policy, which I think they do, then its no wonder they're doing poorly. I have nothing against that policy mind, I kinda like it actually, but this league is dominated with excellent foreign players. So its no surprise they're doing so poorly. Atlas beat Pachuca 1-0, Tijuana 1-1 with Morelia, Queretaro drawing 2-2 with Tigres, Puebla 3-2 over Dorados, and Leon winning 5-1. Boselli with 2 goals just to piss off Aaron :D

Got some time lately to keep a better track on Liga MX, and surely is a very entertaining league.

Monterrey and Léon are keeping very strong. Great results this round. After seeing Toluca's performance at Libertadores last week I couldn't imagine Léon would get a big avantage at score like that but they're really very good.

And among the top table teams, Pachuca was the one that unexpectedly got beaten. Atlas did well.

And what a game from Club América and Cruz Azul.

Monterrey and Léon's unexpected defeats this round and for big scores, MX always turning around. And with those results my fantasy team will start flopping hard, living up to its name.

The shot ambush thing? I have no idea, just praying for the one you're with the gun pointed to being the first to pull the trigger.

Great game it was Monterrey vs Guadalajara, also another surprise, the first half ended up in a tie and was very balanced with both teams fighthing a lot to get the victory. Guadalajara with more intelligence could grab it though. And Pachuca did very well, and already got the second place while Léon, the ex-vice that was doing so good, is falling positions gradually and with that last game being a direct table confront the lost points would be even more important.
