Mid - Table thread ?

its not as good as I thought it would be ...you kid yourselves that you're in touch of the play offs , but you can't enjoy it cos you know that unless you keep up mediocrity , and that's not as easy as it sounds , you'll be looking at Google Earth wondering exactly where Forest Green is

The telly likes to split the league in 3 when they are showing it so I suppose it's 9 to 15 ....but I remember when they showed top half followed by bottom half , bringing in more flexibility ......I know it's not right , but I think it's better to be top of the bottom than bottom of the top

What telly do you watch? I don't know of any TV channel that doesn't just do top half - bottom half.

Yeah, we used to joke about the combined football knowledge of Manish Bhasin and Steven Claridge, but boy I would take them back in a heartbeat.

It was just having to wait till 1 in the morning to see your goals that was the problem ....cue CH 5 and a lesson in how not to do a highlights show ...... these days , someone on our message board makes it his business to post a link as soon as it's available , sometimes as early as 6 pm , but almost always before CH 5 ....once in that link I pick off the ones of interest

I do still watch it just because I wouldn't go through and watch every game's highlights on Youtube but if it's on the tellybox then I'll turn it on and sort of half-watch the other ones, enough to hear the names of goalscorers and go (oh that guy again) and make a point to see any particularly good goals, or red cards... I like to rewind it for another look if I catch a red card or a melee but missed the beginning.
