Altrincham vs Stockport
Boreham Wood vs Wealdstone
Halifax vs Grimsby
King’s Lynn vs Notts County
Southend vs Yeovil

Will the two hours of light drizzle forecast on Tuesday morning be enough to get a fourth Notts away game in a row postponed? Can’t say I’m confident tbh.

King's Lynn v Notts County is the most likely postponement in the history of likely postponements.

Halifax v Grimsby the pick of the bunch there.

My lads going to Halifax with his mate and his naivety is telling him that we should definitely win because we outplayed them at home.
Unfortunately though it’s one of those (many) grounds that we always seem to play shit at and lose.

We’re being waterlogged pitched out of contention.

Cleeve’s calling this off at 7 just to spite us I reckon.

When you do visit those grounds for the rearranged fixture then don’t spend anything in the ground. Hit the stupid owners where it hurts.

Yeovil at home tomorrow. Expecting a tough game. Earlier in the season another match carrying on from the last 2 seasons of getting steamrollered by 3 or more goals and heads dropping as soon as we ship the first goal.

Not any more though. The new coaching team are slowly making a difference and small improvements over the past two games have seen us take 4 much needed points.

Not expecting a win, although not inconceivable now, but avoiding defeat would help us keep the pressure on those around us.

Luke warm rumours of us maybe getting another defender in, would be a full back, as centre back slot is now well covered.

However we seem to be slowly improving. No where near to be able to beat the better teams in the division yet, but this season we don't have to. As long as we can beat or do not lose to those around us, we can stay up, then the big rebuild in the summer for next season.

However the big unknown that could cast a shadow over our hopes, is our own Chairman....Ron Martin.

Aye, as Jacob says, only very light rain forecast, and it’s been dry yesterday and today in the East. If KL can’t get this game on tomorrow, when can they get one on?

It looked an absolute state in the pictures from Saturday, probably in doubt even with no rain. I’m just looking for a bit of honesty, can’t control the rain can you put the consistent theme of both Dover and Lynn has been those clubs spending all morning saying everything was fine and there was nothing to worry about, only for the ref to turn up and laugh at them because there’s massive puddles everywhere.

Yes, you have been habitually shit at the Shay over the years, from the 4-0 Dan Gardner Masterclass to the 4-2 in your promotion winning season where shit turned toxic between your players and fans.
Saying that though, you were impressive against us last Monday
and it should be a great game. Let’s hope it’s a good crowd and decent atmosphere .

10 NLS games were on Saturday and 7 NLN games were. Majority of cancellations were Covid or because Kidderminster were in the FA Cup. The only game cancelled due to weather conditions at Tier 6 was at Alfreton.

Dover and King's Lynn are tinpot bastards. I wouldn't be having one second of their shite excuses. I sincerley hope Notts fans and players don't get fucked again tomorrow.

National League need to get a qualified official down there tomorrow early doors to assess things.

Why are Halifax playing Grimsby again? They only played them about 8 minutes ago, I was watching it on TV and Grimsby scored in the last minute.

I was at the 4-2 game but we fucked off around 85 minutes so missed the last 3 goals.
That first half was strange though as we were of course atrocious defensively but between each of the goals we seemed to be playing ok but then every time you attacked you cut us open and scored.
I still had a really good day though drinking in Halifax before the game and I wasn’t that arsed about the result as we were never gonna catch Cheltenham anyway so I didn’t let the result wreck the day.

To be fair as an Aussie, who now resides in Halifax’s surrounding areas. Halifax itself is really quite decent these days, especially the lower end of town near the train station. The Piece Hall, Minster and Square Chapel make it look half decent, plus there are loads of good pubs 5 mins from Ground, if only WYP weren’t a set of pricks, then we could have welcomed a lot more of you.

Jacob, I couldn't agree more about the cancellation from the weekend as from all the pictures I have seen the game could easily have been called in the morning to save the Woking fans (and potentially the team) travelling. The Boxing Day fixture was different in that I am yet to find a Lynn fan who saw the pitch (and many of us entered the ground as there was a supporters club Xmas raffle) that didn't think the game should have gone ahead based on conditions that games have been played both this season and in recent years.

Some of the tinpot stuff is also reasonable, we were short on infrastructure in our single (curtailed) season at NLN so the step up to NL has come as a huge culture shock both to the club and our visitors, not an excuse just a fact. Unfortunately we don't seem to have learned anything from last season either on or off the pitch and now our shortcomings are more apparent this season as we have fans to witness them.

Fingers crossed tomorrow goes ahead, will all depend on how quickly the water table drops than what falls from the sky as the pitch is low lying, lots has been spent in recent years trying to mitigate the problem but truth is until we invest in an artificial pitch (unlikely given the ground is council owned) this issues will continue to arise.

Not that the management team would ever say it and they wouldn't get away with it, but tomorrow is a bit of a free hit. Having watched Luton play in the FA Cup yesterday which was their first game in nearly a month, I'm imagining we'll be even rustier and Boreham Wood do have strong depth to come in and replace any players who started on Saturday.

With the exception of the Torquay game, we've given everybody a run for their money on the road this season. If everybody is fit and available then Nik Tavares has to start and I'd like to see Elito or Browne start further up the pitch in a midfield 3, especially considering Boreham Wood play 3 at the back and none of their centre halves are the most agile. The three players who tend to start most games in midfield (Charles, Cooper and Dyer) all play a similar style of game which the more I think about it limits our creativity.

Halifax v Grimsby the pick of the bunch there.

Cleeve will do a last minute cancellation purely for spite. He will make sure to entice some down again first though.

Bet he's salivating at the thought of their match in Wrexham on 12th February. A packed Racecourse, full of fans attending their first home game in 2022, singing anti-Cleeve chants. It's his wet dream.

No injuries for us for a change other than Bapaga being ill, and Lenny being suspended.

Might see rare appearances of Grant and Scannell on the bench after their reserves run out last week?

11am pitch inspection for our game. Lynn confident of it going ahead but, reading between the lines, we’ve kicked off big time after Saturday and the league have agreed to ask the ref to get there early for this one. Should at least massively reduce the chances of another one called off an hour before kick off as the afternoon looks mostly dry.

It would be very funny if this game was called off at the 11th hour again ngl

Pitch inspection at 11am by the match day ref and if it's a bit doubtful more during the day to give supporters as much notice as possible.
