*Looks at weather forecast and cries*

Annoying it looks pretty dry in Dover in the days surrounding the game - bar a wet spell this afternoon, which will come too late to stop the majority of fans setting off (i imagine the team have stayed over). Will it be enough to get the game off? Based on past experience, yes.

Elsewhere, Bromley v Stockport is massive. Can the Hatters cope with playing a side with a pulse for the second game in a row?

Maidenhead playing their rearranged Boxing Day game at Wealdstone.
At the time would have been a massive 6 pointer.
Now, thanks to the general shittiness of the teams below us it is just another game.
Am actually getting off my arse and going to this away game.

Just want this Dover game over and done with. Any scrappy win will do. It looks like it might fall victim to the weather again though.

In a wicked turn of events in PITCHGATE the Dover game against Notts County will go ahead tonight, despite the clearly waterlogged pitch. Burchnall will claim he is furious that the game was not called off - blaming the pitch for his teams defeat at the hands of a last minute penalty. Notts Twitter to tweet something derogatory afterwards.

Odds on when Kings Lynn's game with Woking is called off?

Also - Good luck to Boston in the County Cup Semi tonight.

Pitch inspection at 12.00, with the rain is due to ease then stop mid afternoon, chances are the official will take a look and then just schedule a later inspection

Lynn vs Woking postponed again due to a waterlogged pitch, at least this time it was done with a bit more notice for the travelling fans (and team?)

Disgraceful from County to force the game to be off because they don't want to play Dover in the rain.

Notts getting postponed out of it and Chesterfield getting Tsimanga'd out of it. Clearly this means it's the year of the tinpotter. Boreham's to lose

jacobncfc getting absolutely after them in the comments, gu' on lad

My head’s gone at their chairman saying ‘the forecast is for sunny intervals from 3’ when anyone with Google knows it’s actually for another three hours of torrential rain.

To be fair god knows whose fault this is, but we shouldn’t really be going from ‘pitch is perfectly playable, no issues’ to ‘match postponed’ in the space of 40 minutes. Such is life.

So, for the second time this season, we’re accusing Dover of straight up lying to everyone. The Rome derby has nothing on this new grudge match.

None of this reflects well on either club or the NL. Inevitably it's the fans who suffer the most
i thought Notts would be sending down their own Pitch Inspector this morning lol
