Take "the" from this places URL and make the forum plural
I'm amazed this place has last as long as it has. Dead above League 1. Reckon the people using it could attract more fans and make it better

Bizarrely timed and unsubstantiated shots, as that didn't happen. We might have praised some of our performances and players as they deserved it but we weren't "getting far far too giddy" about our position. Go get some quotes and come back and we'll talk some more, otherwise you're just chatting shit.

Easy to go around shitting on teams when you've got double their budget. We're currently just a little bit shy of where you'd expect us to be.
Shall we all make the other place the new home of NL? At least the forum works. Last one there's a rotten egg

Aye but will they know such TFF tropes as ‘TRIGGERED’, ‘beef’, ‘it’s X’s to win it from here, 100%’, ‘What HE did’, and so on and so forth?

Seems unlikely

We'll teach them when we mass migrate. They can adapt or die. Seriously though, we ought to, this place is winding me up. I've already made a first Turner Prize winning post, I was expecting the mass exodus?

Is there any other site we could migrate to? Or do we persevere and hope for improvement?

Looks like it, site has gone down the pan, nothing fucking works!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
Not checked the member list in a while but has TractorBoys always been listed as a moderator rather than admin? Thought he was the geezer who owned this play after the old gang nuked TFF 1.0

Looks like the admin has been transferred to some rando accounts last week with 0 posts (unless they’re just sock accounts to do the admin stuff)

Oh aye, hadn't noticed this. Website informer used to list Tractorboys as the owner and now it's protected for privacy of the owner(s) and if you Google a company called Cloudstrike Ventures (who have affiliated admin accounts on here now) they are listing this forum as one of their sites now.

CloudStrike Ventures is a private equity firm. We buy, build, and monetize online communities.

Our goal is to educate, inspire, and engage our readers, and build a place where they can ask questions, get answers, and leave feeling inspired.

We leverage our in-house expertise in content, social media, internet marketing, SEO, SEM, and email marketing, to acquire and build websites into profitable businesses that have clear paths to future growth. Our tools include a portfolio of domain names and sites that are constantly growing as we seek to drive continued traffic to our website properties.

CloudStrike Ventures is a private equity firm operated by a passionate entrepreneurial team committed to delivering our goal of educating, inspiring, and engaging with our communities. CloudStrike is led by Jeff Wiener. Jeff has many years of starting, building, growing, and exiting businesses. If you would like to join our growing team, you can find more information here. jeff.cloudstrike Are you gonna sort this place out or what then? It used to be a sad indictment of our lives that our day's/night's entertainment was at mercy of a man called Tractorboys. Now's it at the mercy of a man called Wiener. If you don't sort out the problems pronto that everyone is mentioning in here and in the support forum then people will be posting elsewhere.

jeff wiener lmao

tbf this is a really similar situation to what happened with the Football 365 forum after Sky sold it to some dodgy South African company called 'Ole Media' with a business model which sounded very similar to that of 'Cloudstrike Ventures'.

It quickly became clear Ole Media weren't at all interested in maintaining the forum, beyond figuring out ways to load more and more adverts onto it, even if the adverts broke longstanding functions like being able to view your own post history. Everyone struggled along on there for a couple of years after the takeover until a rumour cropped up which suggested Ole were planning on permanently closing the forum down. At that point a few more technically adept posters offered to set up a new message board if the server and hosting costs could be crowdfunded. A few days later after loads of posters chipped in and raised a couple of grand, the new forum was launched and most users migrated over straight away.

The new 365 forum's been going for about a year and a half now, and it's a million times better than the hunk of shite Ole Media were previously running. It also turned out the imminent closure rumours weren't actually true, but they did hilariously mean Ole Media were left without any users to show adverts to. About a year later they eventually ended up closing the original forum down as nobody was visiting it anymore, so a lesson for Cloudstrike Ventures there if they've bought up this place with the intention to run it into the ground in a similar fashion.

Their "goal is to educate, inspire, and engage our readers, and build a place where they can ask questions, get answers, and leave feeling inspired." They overtly talk about monestising forums. I'm not sure about you lot, but this doesn't sit right with me. Yeah, Tractorboys was doing that a bit, but this isn't a diss on him. Fair play to him if he's made a bit of dough out of it. At least he was one of us at one point back in the day of the old TFF.

What people's thoughts would be on a a mass exodus to foot ball forums dot net? As said, it's very quiet in the lower/non-league section over there but if we got everyone over there from here then it would just be the same. I already have an account that I don't use. I suspect a few of the rest of you have.

Yep I’m up for it I already have an account on there but hardly post.
Good thing about that place too is the mods are all good and the off topic is really active too as opposed to here where it is totally dead.

Yeah the off topic sections on the old TFF used to be a lot busier. This is place is pretty much just a L1/2/Non-League forum now.

Yep, that's it, we're off. Zero chance I'm just being peppered with invasive ads on a forum that doesn't even work. Come on chaps - http://www.http://www.onefootballforum.co.uk/forums/non-league-football.117/

FOOTBALL FORUMS . NET with no spaces is the place for anyone looking to pop over, it won’t let you post an actual link on here as Tractor Boys changed it so it just changes back to the 1ff link.
Surely it’s got to be better than putting up with this shite on here?

So long as B2TF or the idiot Chesterfield element isn't there, I'm game.

I realised I signed up with a few accounts on the other forum, one as a bit of a joke and that's the one connected to my email address so if anyone that's on there could message a modmin for me that would be sound. I emailed their general contact us section using the form but no idea if it will be checked or not.
No I can't either.....
Doesn't work on my PC at all, can't even reply.
