With Colchester goals should always be a guarantee this season. Worst defence in the land but a good attacking line. Millwall are looking strong and will always be at least play-off contenders at this level, they also have goals in them.

Feels good to give someone a pasting. Been far too long in coming.

Colchester had a lot of the ball but we had far too much in the attacking third for them. Not Gregory's biggest fan but he's starting to show his quality at this level. Ferguson was excellent, even without the two goals. Morison very good again. O'Brien had one of his quieter games.

We look like a top six side, which is encouraging.

Our defence continues to defy belief at how bad it can be. We're on course for conceding 104/105 goals this season and you can't survive with a back line like that. Unless something seriously improves at the back we will be going down.

Col U were very good, I thought, aside from two of the worst centre halves I've ever seen. Morison and Gregory had them both on toast every time they attacked the ball on the ground or in the air. Sort out their defensive organisation and Colchester will easily survive, IMO. I thought Eastmond was fairly highly rated?

Regarding ourselves, we're beginning to look a very good league one side now.

Assuming you're talking about Eastman rather than the departed Craig Eastmond, he is a bit hit and miss I think to be honest. He either looks like a world beating colossus at the back, or like a pub player. Today clearly the latter.

Yeah it was poor, but it was the only mistake our defence made all game really. Porter caused us a few problems when he came on but no one got near enough to him to make anything of it. I don't think you'll go down. Swindon and Crewe looked to have 2 of those spaces sewn up based on the sides we've played thus far and I reckon your goal scoring threat will see you safe.
