Both teams with everything to play for and in need of a win after disappointing results today.

Millwall lost to Bradford, which not only sees them lose ground in the race for the automatics but also sees the teams below them close up. Lose here and I can see a few getting restless in South Bermondsey.

As for Burton, they couldn't beat Oldham at home, which means Wigan chip 2 points off their advantage at the top. But, with Walsall not in action until next Saturday, a win here would see them open up a huge 10 point cushion in the automatics race.

Could go either way this one, too tight to call I think.

All match discussion in here.

Be delighted with a point.
If we play like we did today we won't win another game until the rest of the season.
Maybe a bit dramatic but It was not pretty.
But...sign of a good sign is the reaction. Let's hope we get one.
Lions are no mugs at home though

Need a win here. A win and a good performance, ideally, but three points has to come before all else.

Very good goal.

Both teams playing some nice football especially that move that should have ended with Burton going one up.

why are Burton playing such a high line when their defenders have the pace of Steve Evans?

Goal was against the run of play mind, Burton started well.

Harris has got this tactically spot on. Quality in the final third showing today.

An emphasis on closing down and percentage football in a comfortable if not particularly inspiring opening forty five minutes. Kenny Jackett, is that you?

2-0 up at HT against the side who have been top of the league all season, so tell me again how the standard of this year's L1 is as high as normal? :lac:

We beat every team in the top six at home that year playing that way and I don't think I ever said it was a great L1 this year!

I like Harris, glad it's working out well for him.

Had this on since about the 35th minute and I can't remember the Millwall keeper making a save.

Worst time of the season to play shite and have a blip.
Thank god we had a buffer.
Bury at home is now massive. Need a big win to get the confidence back up or else I can see us dropping like a stone.

Well, that was easier than expected. As said previously, Harris got his tactics spot on. Game was effectively over after the 2nd goal and we never seriously looked like going for a third. Not a great advert for the league but we showed quality when it mattered.

Ben Thompson excellent again. Lee Gregory MOTM, though. He's starting to look the real deal this season.

Glad I turned this off after 30 minutes, sounds like I missed zilch.

Tactically spot on from Millwall, well played.
For the 1st time this season I can see us struggling, maybe lack of strength in depth is going to catch up with us. Hope not, we need to show some real bottle theses next dew weeks.

Three years of using virtually the same core squad has caught up with us I think. A big percentage of our current players are still the ones signed by Gary Rowett when he was totally restructured the playing squad after we nearly left league two via the wrong door. Basically what you're seeing is a group of players that nobody else wanted and Burton Albion took a punt on them.

No surprise to me that we're running out of steam, especially since Clough has had to do a bit of a hatchet job on the wage bill after we lost money last season (Hasselbaink spent a bit and made our squad a bit too big) and the people of Burton decided they didn't give two shits about their football club so didn't turn up to watch us in a higher league. A fair few of our lot have turned on Clough as well which is good news for the chasing pack.

Well done Millwall. Totally deserved the win.

12, is that it?

Ginger Martin has scored 27 for The Prince of Wales in the Kent Suburban Sunday league.
