Coventry fans really are arrogant fucking c***. Especially that fucking racist.

I'm just glad I'm not from Coventry. Football is a very secondary interest and I can ignore it when we're shit and revel in it when we're good. I get the feeling that the football team is all some on here have got.

There is literally a thread on this forum called "The Bradford Promotion Bandwagon 15/16". We've had a shite 15 years, lay off.

No worries. It is just a game after all and am seasoned enough not to take disappointment too personally. Enjoy the rest of your season, bar one, I reckon it will be a memorable one.

We were utterly terrible and the game changed on the penalty incident. Worst home record in the football league over the past two years and you could see the confidence drain out of the players after Coventry's first. We completely wilted. Too many players from last year and a completely inept backline. Forde, Webster, Beevers and Williams either need to be dropped or moved on: all either not good enough or completely disinterested. Big learning curve for Harris and I think we will see the youth come to the fore in the coming weeks if today's performance was any indication.

Best players on the park Lameiras and Armstrong. Mowbray's got good scouts and contacts and more importantly forward thinking; we brought in two former players who are now past their best and a Gillingham reject. Hard to judge how good they'll be over a season given we're a mess and, if reports from those who went on Tuesday are to believed, the performance wasn't any different from the Barnet game where we could have lost by four or five, but was impressed by Coventry's organisation and gameplan. Not particularly flashy but ruthless and persistent. Fair play. I see the snarky comments already but of course I never actually said anything to disparage Coventry's team at any point.

On to Barnsley.
Sounds like us last year under Pressley, didn't have a clue and just signed any crap chucked at him. We're fortunate to have Mowbray now who knows how to build football team.

We don't actually have any scouts at the club but Mowbray does have good contacts throughout the leagues (at least we didn't at the end of last season, that is in the process of changing) When Mowbray signed a new contract in the summer he insisted on bringing Mark Venus with him, Venus is usually his assistant manager but is now in a more director of football role and his remit is to set up the scouting network.

Aged 20, 20, 18, 18.

A right back who (thinks he) is a model. A Portuguese wizard. An 18 year old Geordie and an 18 year old Coventry lad who wears an Alice band. What is not to love?

Yesterday was a fantastic day out. Everyone was fantastic from 1 to 11. We actually look far more organised in defence. and the 2-3-1 playing in front of them works fantastically.

I still think when is our bubble going to burst though.

Darned good team are Cov, they were very strong in the Cup at Spotland, second half they almist over-ran us.

If your team is mediocre then they look like the type to pick you apart over 90 mins

We didn't start out three best players in that game too, as well as our second choice keeper playing.

Dale will be up there this year, I'm pretty sure on that.
