Can't find a good enough excuse not to go to this, I live in the hope of seeing Gills score. Aim high.

Hopefully this is the start of the promotion campaign, 44 games till promotion.
Going to have to score 2 though, Lee Nicholls is great, and I don't know how but only one seems to get past him a game in the league, we should have a GD of -10 already.

F**k me, I know we are a pessimistic bunch, but this is taking it to new levels.

Fwiw, agree with the 1-0 home win prediction, another red card and 562 Gills in attendance.

I will be playing for the worst cricket team in Cornwall, and will score a duck.

This is where our season is supposed to start, right? We'll see...

Not sure if Sow is ready to start (strange that neither he nor Robbie put any timescale on his availability - maybe we'll still be sweating on all the various clearances at the weekend?) but we should just about have enough to beat Gills at home.

MK fans,
Where is the best place for a pre-match tipple?
Last season I got off at MKCentral and walked for about 45 minutes through seemingly endless subways, each inhabited by tent dwellers, then eventually ended up at a Spoons near a bowling alley.
I then took a cab to Fenny Stratford and sat outside a small pub on the canal. It was OK but a bit 'Wicker Man'.
Any suggestions where I can sit for three hours or so and have a decent pint and not be further from the ground than when I left home?
Cheers

Best bet is the Wetherspoons directly by the station, just down from the Santander bank under the first underpass. Closer to the ground you're stuck with Bletchley or Fenny, unless we open the Red Dot bar for away fans. I'll see if the Dons twitter know if you'll be allowed in.

Cheers mate.
Is there nowhere on the stadium complex other than the dot bar?

TGI Fridays is genuinely the only place you'd be able to stand at a bar and have a drink in the general area of stadium:mk that isn't actually in the ground that I can think of, and it's as annoying for us as it is for away fans. My recommendation would be to go to the Spoons by the station and get a cab over nearer to kick off, around a fiver it should be.

I go to the game, wife and kids go to IKEA, everyone's a winner (except Gills).

This is pretty dull stuff, zero atmosphere from either set of fans.

Our best player in the first half was that middle of the park maestro Mr Trevor Kettle. He faded after the break but made a great effort to liven up, what was a pretty awful game, by awarding a penalty to either side for reasons only known to himself. Of course, neither side followed his script and one was sidefooted at the keeper while the other was fished out of the canal somewhere near Great Linford.

The goal was a diamond in a sea of shit - a terrific ball from Tshibola converted by a splendid diving header from new boy Osman Sow.

Unerringly accurate, apart from the red card.
