So after playing well last night at Derby it would be typical of us to go and lose to MK even if they did get stuffed 5-0 by Burnley.

As i'm driving there anybody know where the best place to park for free is? Where's the best place to drink before the game?

There's plenty of street parking in the industrial estates around the ground, although I know it's getting tougher to find a spot. Nothing much in the way of actual real pubs, but TGI's' Frankie & Benny's behind the away end. If you need to park up close then that's probably your best bet.

The smart thing to do is head to Fenny Stratford (about a fifteen minute walk from the ground) and use any of the three or four half decent pubs there.

Cheers mate. I'l probably go for street parking in one of the industrial estate's. Sold just under 2500 tickets so far.

Got my tickets this evening, minibus full of Pompey Royals stopping off at a few Bucks country pubs on the way up. Echo Daz's queries on the best places to park, especially with some boozed up middle age men** on the sauce.

*yobs
**I'm nearly middle-aged, the others are.

I do hope we've defrosted that corner down by the cowshed that never gets any sunshine.

Well, that was a surprise. I'd forgotten what 3 points felt like :2thumb:. Trust City to emulate us though. Still no real gap between us and relegation.

That was utter shit. Everyone was poor .Why did McDermott bring on Cox instead of Sa? Guessing Sa will be going out on loan. Our set pieces are a joke. Crosses from corners that either fail to beat the first man or sail over everybody's heads. A lot of huff and puff but poor decision making and players not on the same wavelength. Some day we may even take a quick throw in.

4 points off reading this season. Very good return, feel like they dominated the first game and really should have scored first yesterday. But they really lack that cutting edge.

Apparently we've had over 180 corners this season without a single goal. And our last league goal from one came exactly one year ago.

Makes it even worse that we regular concede from them too. Both goals we conceded this week came from corners.

I think we either need to send Vydra back to Watford or bring in a striker (Kermorgant?) who can link up well with him otherwise we just won't score enough given how easily our defence can switch off.

That's about the same as us. Our last goal from a corner came in the last game of last season. We have to rely on short corners, or long ones with someone peeling off the back post because we usually don't have the physique to compete in the box.

Robbo claimed yesterday was the first time this season it was actually worth our while putting it directly into the six yard box. We'd caused you a couple of problems from corners earlier in the game so it was good to see a plan working for once.

Everybody does. Neither one of our keepers inspires confidence defending them.
