I don't know, I'm torn. First and foremost I'm still not 100% convinced it will actually end up there. I will be a year from now but still, someone might just have a penny drop. And boycotting the tournament is masochism, really.

But right now the opinions of ten bribed power men matters more than a billion followers and lovers of football. It will continue to be that way until people actually do what's right, rather than what they want.

We'll both watch it though, I'm sure.

And while it's fucked up and still a money-rules-football confirmation that it ends up in the USA (with a couple of alibi games in Mexico and Canada), it really is far and away from Qatar. I mean, the Qatar is good for literally no one as the average Joe in Qatar won't get to watch it either. It's literally only for the money men.

And with the average ticket price in the 2026 World cup quoted at a whopping $345, it won't be especially available to the average Joe either. But it's still a world and a half away from fucking Qatar.
