Much better today. Very comfortable and much better attitude. Glad keanu marsh brown was dropped, don't think much of him.

Feel for Kiddy, hockaday clearly has no idea what he's doing. They've got worryingly worse since we played them in august, just a team of kids.

Cheltenham are so damn consistent, just can't see them losing!

On another note, fairplay to halifax, picking up some decent results!!

Burr at it again with his tactics lottery, went with 3-5-2 today and as it beat hapless Torquay last week it was supposed to work again.

He’s had a right mare there, three centre backs and Luke George to mark one striker, who still managed to score, admittedly through a debatable penalty. He then takes George and Lloyd off, arguably our best two players on the day. Absolute madness.

Macc quick out the blocks and took advantage.

Your lot might not like Kingsley James but perhaps you'll be pleased to know he had a right good celebration today after getting a fair amount of stick off a handul of Wrexham.

Ah good, don't mind him myself.

Guess you've snapped out of playing him too deep nowadays?

We weren't great today, will take a point from what was a pretty dreadful game. Up into 7th now though, hopefully we can push on as we have a decent run of fixtures going into January.

That was all on on Lord 'shit doesn't stick' Aspin who decided it'd be a bit of a hoot to play him in a role completely unsuited to him. Won me £30 today as well.

Fairplay to Hill, don't know how he managed to turn it all around. Did any players actually go out on loan in the end?

Didn't go today, but it sounds like Tranmere were very lucky to get the win!

As I predicted, today was difficult. Neither team did enough to win and BW will be happier with a point, that they came for. If they could find a half-decent striker they'd be a few places higher. Onto our usual home capitulation against Aldershot.

Only two bench players, and only one-month loans too.

Thought we could've had 5-6 today. Podge and Bogle were absolutely sensational today.

You certainly could have, Farman made some great saves.
We're far too predictable going forward.

Losing your most dominant defender isn't going to help and we have been pretty pants for the last 5-6 weeks. Would imagine most teams would find it relatively easy to play against us at the moment. Grimsby were decent, they do have probably the best strike pairing in the league and easily coped with any threat defensively against us once Rhead was marked out the game, like most teams have sussed lately.

Nullify Rhead = Lincoln struggle.

This after Chris Moyles admitted as much and vowed it would change. What can we expect on NYD? More of the same? This run of ours has to come to a crash at some point but just pray for three more points on Saturday to start the new year outside of the relegation places.

Will never understand that appear to be perennially shite but always look like Barcelona against us. Do you only charge Nicky Clee's batteries twice a year?

Hardly looked like Barcelona the last two games I saw against Halifax! Poor old Nicky Clee has finally been worn out by being the only creative player in the squad for about three years. He can only do 25 mins at a time now.

Didn't go today, but it seems that the Robins no 11, the above-mentioned Clee changed the game when he came on after a fairly comfortable first half from Rovers.

Some interesting results elsewhere. Wrexham seem to have gone off the boil after their FA Trophy win at our place.

The game was like a caricature of both teams, clubs in fact; with Lincoln you could say, of the last 40 years! Starting with Graham Taylor's team. It didn't matter about going down to 10 men because Lincoln play football like 10 man rugby union - kick for territory and hope to score from a set piece...and one player in particular looked like he could do a job in amateur rugby union...
The Mariners were like a caricature of an Alan Buckley team, lots competent footballers trying to walk it into the net, but never in total control, and certainly not comfortable today until we got the second because we know it only takes a bobble / deflection / defensive error from one of those set pieces... the Lincoln fly half managed to win them 9 corners. Still those clean sheets are mounting, that can only be good because unless we play Shrewsbury we usually manage to walk one or two in...

That was a depressing watch today. Forest Green by some distance the better team, helped out by an inconsistent referee who was repeatedly taken in by Frear's going to ground. The penalty decision looked harsh from where we were and given Young's second yellow, he should have given a yellow for just about every foul. Certainly Carter should have gone for his overzealous, high and dangerous foul on N'Gwatala. However, this doesn't take away from Hockaday's insanely stupid decision to take off our only striker whilst we were chasing the game and not bring one on for another half hour. Every time a midfielder got the ball in our own half, they'd look up and there would be no-one in front of them. DH has well and truly lost all of the fans after today, which only got worse when he took off Whitfield, who was our stand out player and the only player who looked to be creating anything today.

I can't really fault our players effort today, but Shockaday is trying to get them to play a system which just will not work. We've got too many kids who are trying to gain experience of first team football, and I think there are some decent players in there, but they are learning it from a man with no tactical awareness. I think today is the day all of our fans have now accepted that we will be relegated and to be honest, I can't see where another win is going to come from between now and the end of the season.

Another Lincoln thug sent off. What was it for this time, another stamp?

Thought we played really well today and on another day we would have won but to be fair £astleigh's keeper was excellent. Their penalty was very soft and was aided by excellent theatrics from Constable! Also im still not sure how Reason was not sent off for our penalty as Charlie Walker was through on goal 6 yards out (if that is not an obvious goalscoring opportunity what is?)

We deserved at least a draw and thankfully this time they didnt get their usual 90th minute goal against us. Play like we did today at Woking on Saturday and we'll get a result.

Also thought our turnout of 401 was pretty good given that a lot of people would probably prioritise Woking over £astleigh

Fair do's to Torquay, should have had a point but missed a golden chance which flew out of the ground.
We're stuttering at the moment but know how to ground out a result. Don't know how to lose, just win when not playing well.
Great turn out by the away guys and kept it up through the game. Top support and hope they can ( and probably will) survive.
It was a real battle.
Been a good Christmas so far and the two games I feared for today and Atly we got six points so well chuffed.

When are you going to give us our £8K for him.
