Big game for both sides, not quite a six pointer but close. A Cambridge win should probably banish any remaining relegation doubts, a York win will keep us looking over our shoulders for a while longer. York usually get something from their trips to the Abbey, and have reasonable away form, but I have a feeling we have turned a corner and could turn on the style tomorrow night. We were lucky to get a point at their place at the start of the season but a lot of water has passed under the bridge since then.

Don't think we've won a lge game on a Tuesday so far this season but I fancy us in this one.

Could do with the 3pts just to pull away from the bottom and give us that extra bit of breathing space.

I think it'll be a draw, just can't see us winning two in a row!

Because you only play us once a year at The Abbey?

WTF is up with getting thrashed by a team from the bottom 3 at home? I have no idea what to make of our side anymore!

Tbf our away form isn't too bad, always hopeful we can pick up points on the road, quite happy to be playing Wimbledon away on Saturday rather than at home.

Right where to start, defensively we are so so poor, having been comfortable for the first 43 mins and created a couple chances we concede a poor goal, then York score from a cross and before we know it we are 3 down and looking like we'll concede at every attempt , whatever money is doing on the training pitch clearly isn't working.

To lose to a poor side like York doesn't bode well for ourselves and it's going to be a long end to the season, just hope there's two worse teams than us.

I had my first money out texts last night from the more ocassional but well seasoned supporters than myself, pressures on.

Think we'll be okay, this is definitely starting to develop the feel of the season before last (when Dosh came in). Same use of lots of players, after having a mid table season, with it looking likely to have everything being done with next year in mind.

Hmm. I don't know if I can ever forget the Nathan Blissett 'experiment' of that era, but anyone calling for Dosh to go at the moment is a fool.

I'm not so sure about this "looking forward to next year" stuff with regards to that season anymore, I did at the time, it explained the bizzare signings, selections and tactics, but having seen him in action for a further 2 years now I think that's just how he manages, regardless of whether your season is dead in the water or if you're challenging at either end of the table.

I've made it clear I'm not a fan of his but even I don't think getting rid of him between now and the end of the season is the answer (despite the fact you have a couple of texts after Pompey and Tuesday that wouldn't back up my point!), it's not going to do us any good, and under Money we're just as likely to go on a good run for a few games as a bad one. My issue is the fact that it's all been avoidable and the problems are clear to see, are not new problems, are problems that we have seen each season he is been here, and are problems that are either ignored or fixed with even worse problems. He doesn't seem to learn, and for all his positives there is a negative to match it, and that's why, assuming we don't get relegated, that I'm not entirely convinced that he's the man to take us the next step that the football club wants to take.

Unless he takes us down he's not going anywhere though, and next season will follow a path identical to this, we'll just have to hope that like last season we are able to build a squad that is good enough to get enough points on the board in the first 3 or 4 months of the season to allow us the buffer we need for the inevitable second half of the season panic but still be able to achieve our goals, which would be a playoff push I imagine with the resources we should have at our disposal.

This is clearly how he manages, I'm not a fan of his either but what he's achieved with us definitely gives him time at the helm and rightly so, I think we all know there's a good team in there somewhere buts it's uncanny how shit we've become just like last year, although I was 100% backing him in the playoffs(as was laker) when many others were doubting everything.

The situation does remind me slightly of the beginning of Roy McFarlands tenure, as in we started brightly and faded until he eventually got it right, whether money will or not I'm not sure.

Providing we stay up he will undoubtably be here next season with a very decent budget you'd imagine, I just hope he uses it wisely as when things aren't going right the football can be bloody awful to watch and also using as many players as we have can't be good, think I read we've used 40 this season, ridiculous in my view especially when most loanees are bench warmers.

I'm happy with Money at the moment. Granted the football isn't the best but it was clear to me last season that there were a number of players in our squad who we're going to struggle in League 2. But, correctly, Money spent last season concentrating on oromotion rather than scouting new players and consequently the squad has been lagging a bit.

Arbury and I did back him last year when many of our fans went into the post-Christmas meltdown and was even pretty confident of turning it round after the first leg defeat at Halifax and half time at Wemvley when loads of our fans were criticising us for playing negatively.

I think Money has a history of having a decent eye for a player but needs time to be able to scout them effectively and to work out what doesn't work. I think we'll stay up this season and I have faith he'll build a squad over the summer to push us towards the play offs next season. Whether we'll get in them is another thing and our fans may start getting restless but we'll see.

He does have weaknesses as a manager, as every manager does, but I'm content the positives outweigh the negatives at the moment. Let's see where we are at Christmas.
