Monthly Site Costs Breakdown

Many of you have requested a breakdown of the sites running costs, please see below.

Xenforo License (Forum Software) -
£93 + 1 year license extention per year.

Forum Plugin Costs (one time)
Shoutbox, Spam Defences, Blog, Media, Threads, The Hub - £200 with some 6 months renewals.

Mandatory Costs (Monthly)
Hosting & Server Security - £35 - These will increase to about £80 when we upgrade our servers shortly (July 2015)

Optional Costs We Are Investing In
Facebook/Bing/Google Ads Spend - £140 in the last 40 days.
TFF Domain- £299 (non-renewable payment)

So, to sum it up, mandatory yearly costs for the site are roughly £1250 without taking into account the additional costs we happily spend to improve the site.

We knew these costs when we took the project on so 1FF will always remain online regardless of the level of contributions we receive. Furthermore, we do take little sponsorships and ad agreements for guests to support the site. Of course, however, anything that we do receive from you wonderful people is hugely appreciated and reinvested back into the site, without fail.

Thanks guys, just a quick message from me. I'd like to mention that our 'issue' the other day has been fully solved and during the 'off-season' I shall be looking to personally arrange my own project, something myself and TB have been discussing for a while - a new skin. Quite looking forward to that and dealing with my own 'coder' for a few weeks to get things looking a little 'fresher' aesthetically. Of course, the option of this exact skin will be kept for all members at the click of a button, but I definetely have a few things up my sleeve which should make us look a tad more modern.
