Shocking result. Really not good enough. How many times are these kinds of performances going to be ignored because we beat Luton with a lucky last minute penalty (as beautiful as it was), or because we get lucky in defence against Brovers and Portsmouth? Allen is not good enough.

I like N'Gala, but he's not a league 2 defender.

We've beaten 5 of the current top 6. That is superb in anyone's book, regardless of whether you felt we got lucky in defence in all of those games or not.

Granted, I haven't seen too much of this season but what I have seen has been pretty unspectactular. However, we are guaranteed safety and are 10 points off the top seven. With a decent end to the campaign, we could end up a couple of points closer than that, possibly looking to break into the top half.

Allen is no tactical master, we all knew that, but he has now got a solid L2 squad. Give him the summer and next season and if we aren't sowing signs of progress, then that may be the time to make a change.
