Wouldn't like to see the state of his underpants after he reads all the comments from Port Vale etc about how much they hope to visit the Shay.

Haha he did the same thing in 2014 on the old tff forum welcoming himself to the League 2 forum after Halifax had won the home leg of their play off 1-0.
Think he must’ve forgotten that unfortunately you have to also play a second leg.

Last away of the season for us is Wrexham, might get a few extra tickets to cover petrol money. There will be the stipulation to join in the usual last away fancy dress though, ticket price cut for any Welsh theme.
Men of Harlech, surely?

In the mini brawl, one of the coaches runs up to join in/stop it then slips and falls on his arse.

I have to admit I thought more highly of the Wealdstone Raider once I learned which club's fans it was he was berating

The write-up of the match on the Whitehawk website also qualifies for this thread

The conclusion (not the most OTT part):

" Mystified by the previous two hours, the faces of the fans who streamed towards the exit were one of puzzlement. Shall we laugh? Shall we cry? Do both, let the saudade tears flow through the streets of Brighton. And remember this not as a game of football, but as a metaphor to all the past bloody battles this world has seen. Here’s praying to the sporting Gods above that what was witnessed beneath the six bright white lights of Whitehawk on Monday, January 3rd will never, ever happen again."

Do Shitehawk still have all the Brazilians playing for them???

i remember from about Football Manager 2015 that they had a mental squad for the level they were at (NLS at the time i think) including Sergio Torres who had featured heavily for Crawley in their promotion season too

edit - i didnt realise that Crawley got to League 1 and they managed to sign him from them then!!

Remember him from Wycombe in our clashes with them, wasn't over impressed to be fair, but at NLS, that would be different.....

They were heavily bankrolled but then the money ran out around 2017-ish. They brought Lucas Covolan over from Brazil as well.

Yes, two successive relegations was the consequence of the money running out for Whitehawk

Steve King looked like the kind of bloke you'd see drinking a pint of Bombadier with Steve Cleeve in a Yates', eyeing up girls young enough to be their daughters.

I know a few town fans thought he'd possibly come in for us with his son living in Glapwell and Sports Direct main offices being in Shirebrook. Thank f@@k he's not going to be opening a Flannels in our club shop.
